This is a hard one. You want to save so much stuff, but you don't have time, and I think 3 minutes could be too much time. I would have to get my dog, and hopefully my purse would be close. I keep everthing in there, credit card, money, checkbook, car keys and cell phone.

Let's just hope we never have to really see what we would do.

Our important paperwork is in a plastic tub, ready to grab and go, kids, pets, and turn off the power box.

I live alone in a rented flat.

my house was on fire a couple of years ago (just the outside of it but i thought the whole house was cos it was full of smoke) and i just grabbed my sleeping baby and his blanket, which i just had time to dunk in some water to put over his face (dunno why, saw it in a movie one time, i think its supposed to help you breath thru the smoke or something?) and i ran! i never even thought to grab anything else like photos or my laptop or even my shoes!

I would grab my girls myself....and my purse which contains my truck keys and my phone and all of my access to money....

I'd like to think I'd take stuff like my photos and paintings, but I know I'd panic, run around in circles and not get out in time. :)

my son, my purse, and my dogs...everything else doesn't matter..they can be replaced.
