curious. Would you date or consider for a date and relationship, a person who smokes, even occasionally??

If I really like the guy and he promises not to smoke in bed... I mean in the house, why not?

I am a lifetime non-smoker.
But I always end up with smokers.

Never been an issue.

(It may be the semblance of being a
"bad" boy that is the lure?)

I would never date a smoker not even occasional smoker. I watched my husband die of cancer of the esophagus. From smoking.

I don't date, and i don't fig either, and I live in hell a lot of the time, and everything just plain on fire, so it's not an issue...

cigarettes last about as long as ice cubes.

I would be less inclined to date a smoker of cigarettes.. the smell lingers on the clothes and breath, yuk..

Humm I'm a ex smoker.. but have no problem dating a smoker...I do expect them to be respectful while smoking around me. Like blowing it the other way.

But since I quit smoking I do not allow anyone to smoke in my house or my car.. As long as they can handle that then we don't have a problem..

As far as what they do at their place or in their vehicle is up to them.

Relationships work better with compromise

Alcohol can change a person manner very quickly. I'd be more inclined to avoid regular drinkers. It also has the advantage of making me a cheap date drinks:banana:  what ill ill ill

Well occasionally should not bother me. In this modern world with so much stress and pressure, it can happen. I am an ex-chain smoker myself so I can understand.
It will help more if she is smoking hot too laugh laugh

Personally I was a smoker for many years I never knew how bad it stunk til I quit.
Now if I am in a store shopping I can smell a smoker half an aisle away.

So if it was once in a while then I would entertain the thought but never in my house, car etc....

I also am going to flip here I love the smell of a great tobacco being smoked in a pipe...
I love the smell but still not in the house.
