It's hard being alone
Everyday I try and I try
But all my feelings have shown
Thats why at night I cry.

I may try to hide in the shadow
But someone always finds me
I just want to stay in the shadow
I don't know why they just won't let me be.

It confuses me why everyone
wants me to come out
into the world, thats been done
I just want to find a place and shout.

For me being alone is good
when I'm alone I find peace and joy
My life is like it should
Many say that being alone can't bring joy.

Constantly I try to interact
But I'm slowly pulled away
Back into the shadows
Where i belong hidden away from the world.

You are a great poet.

You did have a darker poem that might promote the unsavoury of attempted suicide. But, writing of such for the purpose of the art and healing, I support. If you touch the reader by your work despite the contents, you reached the purpose of your art.

Perhaps, google for a poetry site where you get more feedback? I know one easy site...am not active much there but still a member, e-mail me if you are interested. There's heap of poetry sites about just google it.
