When I've clearly stated in my profile that I'm not interested in a long distance relationship..and I get messages from those who are in another state...and then proceed to tell me that love will overcome the distance!

is it allowed to put mobile numbers on profiles in a very old thread i saw that the moderator was warning one mingler not to share the telephone number, address etc on the forums/profiles. have the rules changed?

i have got many duckface photos, throwing out kisses it was a humour in between me and my friends last summer, so nearly all face-photos from last summer are duckfaced soon i can put some on here

Ladies and gents ... What are some of the elements in profiles from the photograph to the written content that you consider a complete turn-off or at least a pet peeve? People that cannot spell! Sigh Not surprising. This site is international attracting people of varied educational levels, and also people's whose main language is not English.

I volunteer on another site sometimes to listen to other people's gripes and send them to the right place to get their gripe resolved. The #1 thing I hear the most is, "Why do people go through the trouble of joining a dating site, filling out profile info, and then not talk to anyone?" "I will never pay again to be ignored." i don't get that either, surely you want people to see you and read about you and be intrigued about things enough to want to know more? or maybe they aren't who they say they are etc This could be true too.

English just ripped roots of words from other languages....that's my story....lol
