When it comes to men...keep in mind something

Don't pay attention to what he "says" BUT pay attention to what he "does".

I heard this on a show today from a man dying of cancer and wanted his infant daughter told this when she grew up and started dating!

I have thought about these words all afternoon...

I had a "summer" fling (whatever u wanna call it) and the guy was just not good with words...he said things that just didn't come out right (and sometimes irritated me-lol)but the things he did for me were amazing. He had great intentions and a huge heart and I was blown away. I just really wanted him to communicate..or think before he spoke..lol

I guess some men just don't have "great" communiation skills and we don't look past that sometimes..

so true...what a guy says isnt always the key...sometimes they are shy and dont say anything at all...but do the cutest things...

Words mean very little unless backed by action!

I have dated men who that saying does apply to , then I have dated a man who it did not at all apply to. His actions said one thing, and his words seemed to lean towards what the actions said, but in the end, I was left confused by it all. He would buy me expensive gifts and make huge efforts to see me and he will call me all day, but in the end he just wasn't feeling it. I was so lost & confused by it!

OMG I seen that guy today on Oprah....what a brave man he was! I don't know how he sat there and talked without crying, I know I was crying for his children today. He truly was inspiring.

I think that not only men have trouble with communication, even women do. I happen to be one of those women! I have learned here recently though exactly how to communicate, thanks to one of my friends. I think you have to have a special friendship and know that its good to express exactly how you feel.
I do believe that actions speak louder then words, so watch what your mate does. If they say they are going to do something but it never gets done...then obviously, they are not trustworthy.

My opinion (including myself), Men's actions always tell more than their words. As men tell me things I watch their faces, listen to the inflection & watch their body language. I can then normally predict, if they are good for their word.
Law enforcement is now taught the same thing, actually works for both sex'es.

Well I agree that actions speak louder than words. So you can't bet your bank on how he talks on the phone. It's his body language in real life. I used to try to make everything I said to be perfect. And usually bombed out when it came time to say it. Now I just say what I mean and I have found that I am better at expressing myself than a lot of women I have met, especially my ex wife. She could not even open up and talk to me behind closed doors, and we ended up having to go our own ways because of it. I need to be best friends with my woman. I don't know about other guys.

I usually don't talk anyway, I just make grunting and screaming noises and I also point alot. The ladies find that very attractive.

I have to say, it was a great show to watch and very helpful if you are going through that type of stuff. When I first saw a preview of the show, I thought theres no way I can watch that today...but I am glad I did.
