are there certain words or phrases that jump out at you?


for example: looking for a girl to have fun with

do you assume he wants to go the carnival in town and buy you cotton candy

or do you assume something else?


if you read: wanted an understanding woman

do you assume he wants someone he can really talk to or..

do you assume he is married, separated or currently living with someone?

if you read: I'll tell ya later

do you assume he is shy and bad at typing or...

do you assume he has something to hide


if you read someone's profile and it's basically a laundry list
of everything they will NOT tolerate in someone they are dating

do you assume they are just very particular and have put a lot of thought into their perfect match or..

do you assume the poster is just a beeeech or an azzhole?

The "I'll tell you later" with nothing else in the profile drive me crazy

Most profiles are filled with cliche phrases; " I like walks on the beach, family and friends are important, I have sixteen beautiful children who are my greatest accomplishment, I'm looking for someone who is communicative and has a sense of humor, etc etc".

Anyone who has, no picture,(or one that looks like she's a porn star), and no answer, no answer, no answer, I'll tell ya later, or who claims to be born and raised in New York, California, and writes like they are from Botswana gets a pass.

I try not to read too much into profiles.. if they have two or three nice pictures, and say something relatively sincere are intelligent.. that's good enough for me.. and yes "I'll tell you later" drives me crazy as well.. why even bother..yup

When you read a profile...
Do you read them very fast or do you read them very slowly and eat the red ones last...lol.. couldn't help it it reminded me of that Smarties commercial.. do you eat the red ones last..

What annoys me is when they say

I mean what's the point

Hmmm...seems as if they have lot of things to hide.

Head shots alone, then followed with euphemisms such as " a little extra" "curvy" and the more deceptive " average" all masking obesity while declaring their honesty.. this is the majority of the womens sites though I cant address the mens as I have no interest but assume men lie about other aspects such as income and height?

ahhhh..ya mean like bald guys that have a hat on in every pic?

There is only one thing on someone's profile
that gets me.
And not in a good way.

And when I see it, I will have nothing to do
with them.

It bespeaks of so many issues I cannot even
enumerate them.

I am talking about those who do not include
their own age bracket when looking for the 'one.'

The 70-yr-old only wants someone from 18-50, or
the 18-yr-old only wants to hear from those 25-35.

And they go on and on about how young they look.
Well, here is news.
You look your age.
Everyone does.

And if your own age group is not good enough for
you, why would anyone select it to get you?
