At Night



Nothing else more comforts me
than waking up just to see,
the one who knows my every sound,
and Im quite sure will stay around.
Perhaps its just a state of mind,
that one day, someone, I might find.
that will be my partner all the day,
and when nightime falls wont go away.
Its kind of a scary thing indeed,
thats theres another soul that I need.
When I reach out blindly in the night,
your very presence makes everything right.
And in the middle of a bad nightmare,
Im reassured knowing your right there.
So, if you are asking if I need you...
I'll answer simply, indeed I do

you know its an interesting thing about those who write poetry.. there is so much pain that creates poetry.. but of that pain you feel when you write it.. bring so much joy and hope... right ? Wrong?

I've found sorrow and I've found joy
Both are as fresh as the water I drink
One was of taste the other a decoy
Which one is either you must now think
