Early hour poetry..
sleep in my eye
i begin to think

We are only
arms, legs,
and the places

where they meet
in these quite minutes
before dawn.

A basket
of newspapers
waits by the door

childern sleep silently
waiting to drain the day
sleeping joy, and terror

A jar of milk
has been placed by the door

there is wet laundry
in the washing machine.
The sweat pools


in the small of my back,
and your fingers paint
vines and flowers.

I taste the salt,
with this ink I write
on your heart.

R = Respectful to others.
E = Not afraid to show his Emotions.
A = Equally Affectionate & Appreciative to his family.
L = Listen with intent to his wife and kids.

M = Well Mannered in all life's settings.
E = Earning his own way through life is paramount.
N = Neatness, for him everything has a place.

just to comment on PacificStar48 post about Men, i think that is very generalized statement Not all men are this way.. in fact here is.. "One" no power in the panities that control strong men or men with integrity.. Shame wish you would have included that some men.. not men..in general. Panties do not control all men.. only men with low self esteem and have no value for the oppisite sex.. ok maybe there are more of these men than not but .. I think we generalize catagorize to easly and lump into specific behaviors.. I have had plenty of opportinities to have one night stands. yet.. i am that old antique that belive sex is of no value with out commmitment and love.. shame on me for being different laugh!

Lets not generalize .. lets pursue to find better and ignor the wanton behavior the fhe weak.

Sad thing everyone askes were are all the good men.. I have alot of friends that are good men.. moral, strong integrity i ask often were are the good women.. but you know their there.. just boring compared to the bad boys and bad girls and rouges that make us excited.. there obvious...
