Changes in our Hearts

A change I felt, in the pitter pat of my heart,
I knew it was love, right from the very start.
What used to be hate, now changed into love,
When I saw your beauty, with pureness from above.

You made me feel things like never before,
I knew in my heart, it could never be tore.
We laugh and we cry, and say silly things,
Sometimes my love, I think you actually have angel wings.

And with time, a parting is always due,
Hearts get broken, amidst the hue.
What brought on the changes upon your heart,
When I thought it would never be torn apart

It hurts so much, I just wanna die,
Everytime I think of you, oh God , how I cry.
It had to be done, this love affair end,
But someday my love, I hope our hearts do mend.

Time does heal all wounds, so I hear say,
Another love will come another day.
But, when you know it beats so very true,
My heart will always belong to you.

I can't search out love amongst any other,
When I know deep down, you were my lover.
We shared so many special moments along the way,
I can't just sit back, and let my heart stray.

Thinking back now, maybe I was wrong,
Can we still do this, or has it been too long?
Give me another chance, this I do pray,
I need you my darling, there's nothing more I can say.

Betwix and between, we once met again,
Not only as lovers, but as best friends.
You have to be both, for this to work out,
It can't be one-sided, there's no doubt.

So I fall into your arms, and you into mine,
We became as one, like the ivy as a vine.
May all of our troubles be just washed away,
And never again love, will I ever, ever stray.

more of a yo-yo type of effect ya never know at times it will be up or down lol

I want to add my reply now..thanks to you all. We had fun putting that one together. I enjoyed working with blonderocker and collaborating in putting such a wonderful together. Shows you where two heads can think in the right direction.
