understood

and though the definition of Capitalism is clear, like most forms of government, there doesn't really exist a pure form of it

so the non pure form of Capitalism,, one that truly established most of its OWNERSHIP by allowing private owners to oppress and take advantage of the labor of others,,,,,wasn't really initially instigated in any way to advance or 'work' for minorities,,,

even though , after hundreds of years of labor and time invested in the society , those minorities were permitted to join AT THE BOTTOM and 'compete' with everyone else,,,,

I would add, with such a shaky foundation, our 'capitalism' is actually in place to keep those who established that power and ownership off the labors of others to MAINTAIN it while keeping the laborers divided and at each others throats so they can also 'MAINTAIN' their place

which, primarily as the laborers in Americas history, doesn't bode greatly for blacks(or women or native americans), except for those who understand there is a requirement to be 'better than' just to be seen as 'equal' enough to be shown basic dignity or respect or consideration,, let alone to develop 'ownership' ,,,,,

Well said, Comrade.
Much better than "they be keepin da man down" or "Burn this b!tch down"

thanks, I guess

lol, not that I would ever advocate arson, and technically its 'da man' that keeps others down,, lol

there is no "da man", people keep themselves down by not trying...

myth people keep themselves down

SOME PEOPLE do, but that doesn't mean the system isn't also set up to keep others down even whey they are 'trying',, or 'working hard'

7 billion people, can they all be successful? nothing is designed to keep people down... if anything, the system is designed to help those who can make it...can you explain why some blacks have everything they want, while others have nothing? last time i looked, that is the same with EVERY race...

well then we can end all debate now that we have the answer

to obamacare,,,,,7 billion people, can they ALL go uninsured? can you explain why some people are being helped with obamacare and some aren't,,,? must be the same for everyone then

to drones,,,7 billion people, we cant send manpower to everyone that is a potential threat,, can you explain why some threats are taken out by drones , while others run free ? must be the same fof EVERYONE then,,,lol

seriously,,,by default, if a system is set up for the BENEFIT of a certain group, it is not set up for the BENEFIT of others,,,

boy scouts wasn't set up for girls was it? no,,

and similarly, these united states weren't set up for minorities to succeed,, they were set up for the white males to prosper and build wealth,,,

that's just historical reality,,,

so the semantics can be argued, whether not being intended to help is the same as being intended to harm,, but history is history, and its definitely nowhere near THE SAME for everyone in the UNITED STATES

Immigration act of 1965 is what really screwed many black North Americans. Not just blacks, white sharecroppers. Besides having to compete with whites for jobs from the time they got off the boat to perhaps the 1950s, blacks and white sharecroppers had to compete with immigrants for economic prosperity. I use to work as a nurse in the hospital. Haven't work in the hospital since I had fractured my ankle and torn my meniscus. Hospitals in the United States were bringing in a lot of Filipino nurses for cheap labour. I've worked in the hospitals for well over 5 years. I have seen only 1 black American nurse. The rest were carribean nurses who came to this country perhaps as nannies.

Many of these jobs were given to immigrants. Black and white sharecroppers did not stand a chance of economic opportunities. Oftentimes, I hear foreigners complain of how lazy Americans are when it was them that benefited from the immigration act of 1965.

What bothers me the most is when United States participated in mandatory drafting for the Vietnam war. My grandmothers brother was drafted. She said after he was drafted, she never saw him again.

United States was bringing in a flood of overseas cheap labour while sending our men and women to die in Vietnam.

In the 70s/80s, atlas shrugged. Corporation packed their bags and left. The only commodity that United States have is cheap labour. In reality, blacks Americans besides not having a culture really never stood a chance of economic prosperity. Even now, we're competing with Hispanics for jobs-and losing.

As long as we keep blaming each other, race against race, religion against religion, class against class, the banks keep laughing and profiting from our ignorance to their manipulation and enslavement.

As long as a nations wealth is based on debt and credit, and every dollar printed to the system comes with interest attached, there will never be enough money to pay the debt or a "brighter tomorrow" for the masses

You can have enough cash to buy a car today, but if you invest it in bonds or anything guaranteed to grow it, you may get more money but you will no longer be able to afford the car when it matures and you get your money out...... it's called inflation! The devaluing of our dollar by the banks!

Until people wise up and vote to "End The Fed" we will all be debt slaves to the credit system, aka the Private Banking Cartel/Federal Reserve!
