don't forget every little detail in your bids with the incredible high cost of living here in california especially in the bay / silicon valley area where you are and with sky high gasoline prices..... I would think it must be incredibly difficult to accurately take everything into account to give a realistic bid on a job these days,...especially for self employed contractors who can't afford to get financially screwed.
