i think when we were younger it seemed easier because we too often mixed up love with lust or even simple attraction. as for flags, sometimes i think as we get older we either ignore them for fear of alone, or hide behind false ones for fear of getting hurt. the trick is balance. speaking for this guy it still goes both ways. sometimes i can ignore all of them and try to "beat a dead horse". though not as often as in my younger days, thankfully. or i can piece together enough major ones quickly enough to realize it will never work no matter how hard we want to try. and yes i am talking about in a few conversations or dates that's how I found out also ... few conversations or dates gosh don't you hate it when they throw the first red flag right at you lmao |

Well, that guy I was talking about ... I'm done.
He said something like "Oh, so you paint?" So I asked him what he likes to do in his free time. His reply: I used to have a koi pond, ate up a lot of time. During summer a drink on a cafe's patio A bit of sports. Rrrright ... - so the pond is history, why mention it. "I used to..." is meaningless today. - "A bit of sports" prolly means he doesn't do anything, but is desperately trying to come up with something. - A drink in the summer. I guess during winter he's dozing behind the tv or hibernating? What an exciting life! ---> Not for me, I want a man who's still alive! This is why I'm increasingly more interested in younger men, cos at least they still got stuff going on in their lives. Normally I can tell from pictures when a man's like that, but this site doesn't show you pictures until each have sent some 12 chat messages. Anyway, no need for me to get bitter, dump him, move on to the next. |
