I miss getting into bed every night with my man, naked, and knowing he is there all night, and there in the morning. I have a lot of good things to say about what I miss in a good relationship.

I miss a man whose opinion I respect
we don't always have to agree
but I can bounce things off of him
he does not always have to fix things for me
but he has man hands not afraid of work

he can gripe about his day, the traffic, something his kid said on phone..
and I will listen and nod and give my two cents worth on it

I can gripe about price of gas, how I forgot to take out hunk of meat to thaw for dinner, the overwhelming never ending amount of homework I do..and he will listen and nod and remind me why I do this

he has his own stuff he does like hunting or golfing or playing poker with his buddies he has known half his life

sometimes his kids show up and visit and a whole different side of his personality comes out: those guard walls come down and he is no longer the rough and tough on outside guy but the goofball giving horsie rides around the living room and reading bedtime stories in goofy voices to his grandbabies

he can oooh and ahhh over my cooking and how much he loved the apple pie
I can oooooh and ahhh over his mad manly skills on the grill
I will make the salad, you barbeque the meat
conversations that are easy and comfortable and full of laughter, teasing and enjoyment

and if he wants to watch the game? that is just fine with me
while I just finish up these last few dinner dishes..
I can hear him hollering at the ref on that one
and I grin to myself and shake my head

on Thanksgiving he can eat too much
and fall asleep in the lazy boy
and I will pry that pie plate out his hands
and kiss him on forehead

Well Cat as an adult I would answer that I understand and also miss those things. T, I'll give you all the horsey rides you want. Btw, that was my twelve-year-old self. Sorry.

I may have had a couple of breakups where I didn't feel good, but it only lasted a couple of weeks and I never had a feeling that I hated men. I just felt that it was that relationship that wasn't right.

In my case I'd say, definitely a lot longer, cos he gets to unwrap luscious curves each and every time. I'd only wear the top. Don't want it to be too difficult
