3) A guy who understands that having a business VENTURE means he's already got a decent job? ;)

I think a woman would prefer option 3.

I'd need clarification on exactly what kind of "business venture" he's involved in; is it illegal? Does he actually make any money? Is it a stupid pipe dream that's a total waste of time? Yeah, I'd rather he had a normal job, too many ifs otherwise. Besides, you have a better chance of retirement and benefits with a regular job, if you're lucky.

business venture could mean something illegal, which then might not make it a decent job

My thoughts exactly. I"m sure drug dealers consider themselves to be "business men" too.

Providing a guy is financially stable, I don't think it's too much of a concern for most women what a man does for a living, unless his employment is dangerous or it takes him away from home for long periods of time, which probably would give her more thought for concern about a long term relationship. This is just my opinion.

a girl would prefer a guy who shows her some attention and love, no matter what venture he is in (my opinion)

Most women normally chose the highest bidder. The guy that makes the most money would be first choice. Majority of women are very materialistic. Lots of them would marry a man the age of their grandfather just to get material things

Both 1 and 2 plus the intelligence and wherewithal to make them both work successfully while not neglecting her or their relationship?

Money isn't everything
His heart is worth more than all the world riches.

Isn't it better to live with a man that has a pure heart then one that is full of greed?

a woman with a business venture..I love when someone has a goal and a blue print to see the plan through. I have no problem supporting you if you have no problem following through

I agree with this one.. If he is able to support himself and it is legal I am fine with that.
I just want him to be doing something...

If every woman you meet is only after your money (if you even have any) that says a lot about the sort of woman you go after. All women aren't like that, obviously. I've never dated a guy who had anything, there was this one guy whose family was pretty comfortable, but that was their money, not his, he worked at Walmart and didn't take anything from them. So yeah, instead of painting an entire gender with a false brush, you might want to examine the sort of women you're pursuing.......

You are exactly right in saying about number 3 :) I just thought of the humor in there , oh is it mocking about one's understanding?

Setting aside the humor, I would prefer a responsible man who knows the ways and means on how to support and make his woman or family happy , providing a contented life with love, care, attention and harmony within the relationship. It doesn't matter to me what kind of job you have as long as it's a decent job and what you earn is from honest hard work, I will be proud of the man you are:smile:  drinks
