you forgot about those big Haggis-Hunts in the Scottish Highlands! I went on a Haggis hunt in Scotland! They even can the stuff. I even found vegetarian haggis! The funny thing is, the best haggis I ever had was in Houston, Texas! That's prolly cos they cater for American taste buds in Texas. Same with pizza or Chinese. My daughter is not happy she can't get a decent pizza or Chinese in the US ... Food is prepared different everywhere to cater for what people like A better quality, more authentic Chinese food, can actually be found in parts of Canada, rather than the U.S.. |

I was more referring to what/how the Scottish speak, not Scottish or Irish Gaelic. Which indeed is different yet again. Manx is part of that family too I like Welsh :) Don't speak it, but when I was in Wales I was well on my way of 'dissecting' the lingo. I like weird chit, lol. Also been busy learning Scottish Gaelic a couple months back. Even ended up using some Scottish Gaelic in one of my books :) But currently it's on the back burner. |
