I think a relationship with two ppl from the same race but from different cultures is difficult enough.
I've been in a LTR with an Englishman, enough differences to overcome. My daughter is married to an American, even more differences to overcome. Adding the differences from another race in the mix ... I won't go there. Not anymore. I don't have anything against it, but not my cup of tea. |

why does this have to be asked over and over and over and over and over again, most often the only ones who see this as an obstacle are the only ones asking the question.
I think IT CAN be an issue, if you CHOOSE let it be. Or if you use that DEFINE your relationship or your significant other...actually I think if you are then you are not seeing your partners deeper attributes. I hear friends of mine saying things like "I'm dating a black guy"....why not just say "I'm dating a lovely, great, good guy etc" when I talk about my little brother I don't say "my black little brother" I simply refer to him as my little brother or simply by his name, the relationship goes beyond skin color, so I don't need to state it as some sorta statement or caveat like it matters...because in truth it doesn't and it shouldn't. I feel the same way about any other physical trait, I don't say "im dating a fat/skinny/brown-eyed/blonde etc" I refer to her by her name, or qualities she has that are deeper than her outer aappearance. so in summary I think anyone who defines there relationship that way is shallow and will most likely have problems that they bring on themselves by constantly focusing on that aspect of their relationship |

It is not that I do not liked them because in general I have friend outside my race. But I do not think date any of them because we would not click in general. If I was say I have different interests then them and well I would not give up interest to a please them and they would not give up interest. That is friendship work with us so I would not mess with a good thing.
Well in the past I have consider well married someone outside my religion belief that is because my cousin married someone Jewish and got me to thinking abit maybe I should expand my opinions instead of considering what my grandmother wants to a married which is a Baptist. Ruby my cousin been married for many years now. And it last longer that well my mom married traditional Baptist in which what my grandmother want her to a married.I am thinking of doing the same thing. It work well with her. And well I then look at my aunt marriage well they were all failures. For me it has to a be one thing we have click you know features features set a side in general speaking if you were think about one personally has to fit together and we got have some thing in common that is we have to a like to do things on own. Otherwise it would not work. And well they can't be money grubby that is with fiances and well that too. I am not going give some habit in order to please another person and they might not give up there habits either. |

LOVE is all that matters, whether you are black or white, whatever race from around the world you came from and the culture you have, when two people collide and love happens, I would say love moves in a mysterious way
  it's just finding the right one for you where you share something in common, or may be you will just come across love in an unexpected way . I have cousins, aunts, uncles and friends who are in an interracial relationships and I am glad to know that they all have successful marriages, raising up their children with good values in a more diversified culture

Interesting... why would i be offended? only marriage i'm against is gay marriage... troy is in turkey, Asia minor, while Greece is in the Mediterranean.. and, Helen was a goddess, being a hatchling from Zeus and goddess Nemesis... Nemesis didn't want to mate with zeus, so she turned herself into many different animals to evade him... then Zeus caught up with her, and turned himself into a goose (or a swan) and mated with Nemesis and the resulting egg produced Helen... so is a mortal and a goddess not interracial? |
