don't u people hate when u go to renew ur driver license, and they make u take the road sign test when u've already passed the first time u got a the driver's license?
It's just a lost of time.
I passed anyway, but it's aggrivating when u have to wait for station, and there is a bunch of high school kids who don't know the answers, and they are struggling like half an hour there.

I agree, that is why I dropped my hazmats. You have to recertify every so often now. Plus it is bigger money for that endorsement.

Where do you have to do that? In canada, you just pay and go, but I did have to another test for work, but not for my regular license.

See it's different down there, the only way go don't get your license renewed here, is if you have fines that weren't paid, or your 80 years old or something.

Come to Key Largo,most ppl from Dade county do, they only road-test ya behind K-Mart, and I just got mine renewed...nothing but money required...well..insurance and registration but no test...horray for Key Largo!!! hopefully it'll change one day.

Have to tell you something funny re; my work driving test.

I was doing great, not knowing I was to be tested that day, but just the same, tried my best, he said I was doing great!, until he said you look pretty good for having * kids, at that moment i turned right, hit the curb, tried to control the truck, hit the curb again, and he just gave me that strange look, I started screaming "see look what you made me do, don't talk to me when I'm driving!", He said, yah, i thought about it, shouldn't be talking to you when you're driving, you pass!Whew!

What a way to meet ladies.

sorry for the repeat, I should have failed, but he did catch me kind of off guard, lol, but I am actually a good driver, so i don't know why i did that other than it was really hot that day.

That sucks, My license is suspended, but I still had to renew it so I wouldn't have to take the test over, so I had to pay for the renewal, and a duplicate license, but they sent the duplicate back to Columbus, Ohio. Now I still have to pay $455 + another &30 or so for another duplicate + insurance, just to be able to drive again.

LOL, that's one way to pass a driving test. You do look good though.

When I go to renew my license, they just take an updated picture and make sure my address is still the same. I only had to take the written and driving test once, that is it. My license renews every 4 yrs.

Lonely do you need a different permit for each state you drive through, or is the license good for everyplace in the U.S., how does that work there?

When I renewed my license (I've only done it once, but I'm assuming it's the same all the time), I only had to retake my eye exam and get my picture taken, as well as verify my information was the same.

Apparently New Hampshire doesn't care if you recognize the road signs. haha
