My head throbbing and pounding
Wanting to push every one away
Draw the curtains closed tight
Shutting out all light
Craving to hide in my bed
Blankets pulled up over my aching head
Silence every noise
From the hum of the fridge to the creak of the floor
Each little movement setting off an explosion of pain
Head feeling as if caught in a vice
Ever tightening, squeezing my fragile brain
Crushing what thoughts remain
Eyes rimmed in red, blackened circles beneath
Feeling as if immense pressure will cause them to pop
Unable to feel any warmth at all
Shivering so bad my teeth chatter
Which causes another explosion on pain
Again and again
Praying for sleep that doesn't seem to come
Wishing this would be done......

My God girl,I am right there with you these past few days,but reading this made me realize I can't go there again...right now my brain is numb too I have told you many times I so relate to you...don't go there the pain will subside iut always does some days are harder then others but you my friend touch my very soul HUGS

hugsss,what a decription of pain indeed. I do not know how migranes are dealt with; I had similar pain for weeks last year after being knocked out in a wreck,so my heart does go out to those that suffer.
