what can be done about VIOLENCE ? SYSTEMICALLY stop glamorizing it , for one, in the media stop stereotyping it, in the movies and videos focus more on education and financial empowerment of citizens - PROACTIVE measures instead of REACTIVE measures (study after study shows those in the prison system are OVERWHELMINGLY undereducated and impoverished) INDIVIDUALLY go back to valuing children as a commodity go back to making their education a priority go back to making their health a priority go back to making stability and positive influences in their life a priority go back to teaching them the value of lives, especially their own,,,through how we speak to and about them,,, |

70%...... The are killing themselves and anyone else who makes the mistake of getting in the way. Or is NYC fudging their numbers as is the FBI to blame it all on black people. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that 72% of blacks are raised in single parent homes... seems like they are stuck in the 70's |
