This is an easy recepe. The spices, are how I like the taste, you can very them to your taste.

INGREDIANTS:

1 lb Hot or Sweet Italian sausage
1- Medium Onion. (Diced)
2-Medium Bell Peppers. (cleaned and diced)
1- Can (26 oz) Hunts 4 cheese Pasta sauce (or sauce of your choice)
1tsp- Salt (or to taste.)
1tsp-Italian Seasoning (or to taste).
1/2 tsp-Oregano (or to taste)

Boil the sausage to remove excess fat and partialy cook the sausage (it will cook the rest of the way, in the sauce mixture.

In a 4 qt sause pan, Combine the Diced peppers and onions,
sauce, seasonings. Slice the boiled sausage into 1/2 inch slices, add them to the sauce mixture. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cook for half an hour (covered), stiring ocaisionaly) or untill sausage is completely cooked.

Serving Sugestions:

Can be served either on a steak/Hoagie roll, like a sandwich, depending on thickness of sauce, over rice, Slices of Italian Bread, Noki (which can be purchased in super market). or anything else you may like to use.

NOTE: The most inportant thing to bring to the table is a good appetite.

I do something alot like this... Except I grill the sausage first... I like the grilled flavor... and, the other small difference is that I put the peppers and onions into the mix for only the last 10 minutes. This keeps them fairly firm with a nice crunch to them.
