I have read quite a few profiles with no pictures. Sometimes I look at where a person is from and age. I get curious.

i read to things on the profile, where they say they are at- which is usually a lie anyway, and how tall they are...

and i always check to see if they are wearing a miniskirt in their pics...

The more "no soliciting" warnings on your profile, the more scammers will contact you.
I read that tip online, tested it, and it's true. All these -often SHOUTED- "Don't contact me if" and "I don't want..." repel quality men and only attract more w@nkers.
You get far fewer w@nkers when your profile is well written, positive and nice.

Yeah. That's true that most profiles aren't worth reading and it's also true that even if you have read it you might still ask questions like, "What are you looking for?" because you're trying to have a conversation and just maybe you want to see if their messages match their profiles.

I'm sure that we would all love to have all of someone on the internet's attention and may even feel entitled to it but that's not really the way it works. Don't assume that your profile or emails are well written or that interesting. You may as well be a man and quite possibly could be for all I know.

I'm sure that we all get annoyed by poorly written emails that we get but why does someone's ability to correspond like this matter so much if you're looking for a real person with real interests and not just a penpal? You can't both have someone that likes spending a lot of time on the internet and somebody that isn't an undatable loser.

Alright I think most of the Men here would agree with this tagline of the Topic, but to be honest I would like to confess here, that viewing the profile before contacting any perticular person is Must!

Reason being, by reading it we get basic Idea about the person and it helps to decide whether to talk or let go!

And least but not the last reason, few people end up asking the questions which turns Silly just becasue the profile info has already given the answer for that question sometimes!

Moral of The Story is - I read profile first and then conversation!

Just remember what curiosity did to the catinidaho.

I actually do work outside the country and am actually coming back. But I know what you mean. I few times when asked I told the truth and that was met each time with:

Get lost you friggin scammer bastard!!! Lol..

so now I just say..I work in Jersey, if asked.

something would have to really snag my attention for me to take time to really read a profile instead of just skimming it

My case was they just block me!
