What're you running?
(I need a beefier video card, I know...but you gotta dig the Antec Nine-Hundred!) |

It's the precessor that's concerning, I wouldn't have settled for any less than 3 GH even if it was a duo
And yeah, like u said, shoulda opted for an 8900 |

Alright:
CASE: Cooler Master big tower (all ALU) POWER: 750W CPU: Intel Quad core 6600 (the extreme where just a little over budget) MOBO: Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 Ram: 4GB (yes I know WinXP cannot address it, but I am getting ready to go Vista 64bit) GFX: 8800GTS DVD: LG Blue-Ray and HD-DVD dual format player and Blue-Ray burner. HDD: 2x Samsung 500GB and I have a 5TB NAS CPU COOLER: Cooler Master liquid cooling Why all this madness you ask? I do a ton of video editing and video conversion and need the power and storage. It's good for games too. :) |

better than mine, but could still use a beefier video card
and since u're using nVidia's SLI card, might as well go with an SLI board Quadcore! w00t! You get like...+10 for your speed rating 4GB RAM is overdone for XP, you said so yourself, and don't go VISTA! You will regret it! Overall, envious of your set up...how much did it all cost? |

Yeah, about that... had to rob a bank.... my piggy bank.
The total come to a whopping 3700 that does include the 5TB NAS. I still have my original Dell 2405 which is now 3 years old but this is like the best LCD screen I ever bought. |

Did you buy your video card after or your board after?
Just curious about your SLI card with a non-SLI board. |
