Ciretom I am just having a female's perspective vent. We get sooo many scammers pretending they are engineers, that when a real engineer writes, we are wary.

There are many kinds of engineers. what kind scares you? Engineers? The construction of their letters doesn't give hope on a successful construction of long-lasting-relationship, nor on a successful construction of machines and buildings.

I think the title 'engineer' is so over used now it's ridiculous. ..it USE to mean that the person was...you know...engineering something....
think 'custodial engineer' aka janitor. ...but on their profile they will probably just list 'engineer' whenever I meet other "engineers" I love asking "so what is it that you design/make?" if they can't answer that than I no longet look at them as "engineers" regardless of their title |

It would annoy me that someone is using a profession that I work hard in for deceit What do you think Isaac? not quite sure what you mean....could you clarify? how im reading it may not be what what you mean. to me I'm reading this as if you were a 'custodial engineer' and someone said you were a janitor in a way 'downplaying' a job that you work hard in,, and not respecting a title that you believe you earned that would annoy you? or am I way off base? |
