Me, I am an explorer type of person. I like going to beach, doing some activities like hiking, snorkeling. Recently, I saw the movie of James Franco, 127 hours and got interested to canyoneering and i told to myself that I want to get involved in that kind of activity unfortunately we only have one canyon here in our country.

I like sightseeing and exploring the sights, wine tasting, shopping for beautiful souvenirs. I am more highbrow and prefer a life of leisure than excess activity.

I like exploring, but not the physically trying stuff. I'm into cultures, so cultural things. I often don't even need to go special places, I just want to get the feel of a country. The way ppl are, interact, live. Observe and absorb. Feel.
And seeing nature is great too of course!
When I go to the States, I hope to see/feel some Native American Indian places.

I'm not really into museums, nor beaches. I just burn like a crisp. The beach is literally around the corner for me. I've been there ONCE in the three years I live in this village. I've lived in this area for 13 years now, near beaches, I think I've swam in the sea some 4 or 5 times. So not even once a year

I would love to visit Australia for a few weeks when the weather isn't too hot...

definitely an explorer/thrill seeker here,

so far I've been White Water rafting, in Malaysia,

Hiked the Twin Falls in Maui, yes I jumped from the top

Snorkeling in San Diego and Hawaii

scuba diving in San Diego as well, but want to go more places.

Sky Diving in Alabama, definitely want to go again,

so my ideal vacation would be fullfof activities

I like to do all sorts of stuff. Fishing trips are my favorite. Been hang gliding, scuba diving, snorkling, gambling, snow skiing, camping in mountains, shopping in NYC, went to Canada, Niagara falls, white water rafting with all my girlfriends, canoeing down springs, swimming in ice cold springs, horse riding, beach, deep sea fishing, fresh water fishing, been to Bahamas couple times, have performed dancing in Walt Disney World and Six Flags, travelled out west a little, climbed to tops of waterfalls, trips to see changing of the leaves, went to festivals, hunting trips, kayaking, etc.

So much stuff to do, so little time to do it.

I wish I had a desire for the thrill-seeking because it seems a lot of men are looking for someone to be their partner in these things. Even Hubby was a thrill-seeker, but He put up with me standing on the sidelines.

I love museums, out-of-the-way places, small towns, 4 star hotels that have a spa, indoor pool & hot tub and lavish grounds for strolling in the moonlight.

not really a beach goer or a sun seeker, the sun and me don't get on very well!

usually i travel to somewhere to experience history and culture, my mbition would be to visit every european country just to feel the different cultures/languages/food within a small(ish) area.

Depends on my mood and my needs at the time. Done the travel, get to know the local culture thing...loved it. Did the hike, camp, climb thing...loved it. Done the been a tough time, think I'll sit on this here beach and read a book thing....loved it. This year I did the go and see family, drive a big azz pickup and go ahooting thing.....loved it. Doesn't matter what I do, only who joins me.

yes I prefer the kind where I don't have to cook or eat the same kind of things we have around here at the restaurants

I prefer the kind where I am not the one making the bed each morning and air conditioning is involved

I prefer the kind that do not involve such things as getting bit by bugs, or hiking thru miles of woods and getting my legs scratched up by picker bushes, showering in a public restroom and camping in state parks


I prefer the kind where water is involved but not snorkeling or scuba diving more like laying on beach and sun tanning with a drink with a little umbrella in it

I prefer the kind of vacation that has palm trees and out door music to listen to

not so much the kind that involves amusement park rides and kids with upset tummies begging to go in the gift stores to take home a souvenir


though this actually describes most of the ones I have been on

Next year a group of ladies and I are off to Rarotaunga for a ladies weekend. We are going to stay at a resort, no cooking, enjoy the island and visit some friends.
We have been planning this for three years. This will be the start of my travel to see the world lol

one where i dont have to work lol
and that is really rare
all most all ways there is a friend or family or friend of family that needs something worked on
not that i mind really : )
