what makes you think I don't date anybody in my city... I'll have you know I .. date lots of women from my city..... Edmonton has loads of single women... young and old.der..lol..
.. but you're correct I won't date ya if you don't live here.....you know why.. ... here's why.... just got home from work.... I can't call you and say do you want to go get a drink later on.. perhaps take a walk in the park...ohh.. and the food festival is going on downtown... would you like to accompany me...... ..see...now . how long a flight will it take you.. to get here.... and how often is that going to happen..... I need regular attention... almost daily actually..lol.wink wink....

first of all..what in your opinion makes a woman high maintenance I think anyone that is high maintenance would be described as more energy than I would be willing to give. They can be so draining and their sense of entitlement is in my opinion off the charts.. I have ran across a few high end men also in this world. would you still take her out?
have you dated one before? I dated a guy one time that my God is clothes had to be the best and only the best... he took more time getting ready to go play Golf than I did for a court appearance.. I was like this is too crazy, more facials, manicures, shopping expeditions, always a crisis somewhere... It ended in less than a month So it is not only women like that but men also...This was just the materialistic side of him..The farther I got into him the more the insecurities came through and I was like I want to gag... He needed more therapy than I could ever give him.. 
I totally agree with your first statement, Rains. As for your second paragraph ... what I would do, if I meet an insecure materialistic person, I'd simply say: Bon voyage. And run as fast as I can. |

No way. I have been there only once. When the income continues to come in, all is good, for her and for me. When your job has ended from a closing or elimination, most guys are merely a fart in the wind from that point.......I know I was. Nah, I like me now,

... actually I am high maintenance... bit of a snob -.too... can't help it I was raised with four women.... .. I like nice things I like good food.. .... as far as high maintenance go.. my friends and I see them around the city all the time.... they wear nothing but the nicest high end clothing.. always have their hair and makeup done..... they go to the gym 5 times a week.... they're always on their cell phones... and if they don't think you are in their class... they won't even give you a second look..... they only date the guys... with the nicely tailored suit... fancy cars.... they only want to go out where they can be seen by everybody else....yup....omg.. I'm so high maintenance |

Mmm I think high maintenance would be anyone who needs constant reassurance. This might take the form of clothes, or makeup, or job or the car they drive. More, more to make me feel better, best kind of thing. They are exhausting. |

I am not sure what is meant by high maintenance. It seems to be a sneer on high class. Just like a woman is sneered at for wanting the finer things in life and insultingly called a gold digger. Who does the name calling? People who are low class, insecure, low income and cannot afford the finer things. Classic example of a certain class or breed of people cutting down a lifestyle or group of people who will never accept them, where they will never belong. A high class person wants the best things in life and goes after it, whether it be material, social, career, or relationships. I want the finer things in life. I want a high class lifestyle. That doesn't make me a bad person. I treat people honorably and decently and fairly. I am kind and considerate. My high expectations in life reflect my high character, not my low character. If people want to call me a snob and high maintenance to make themselves feel better, so be it. I am a quality person and I won't allow anyone to disrespect me. At least, I know what I want, my high worth and that I rule!

High maintenance as in she loves money or has too much attitude? Hell no... I love the simple things. I have learned how to say no to money and enjoy what I have. I do not get in trouble anymore either.
