Pansylilly quote:
They are prejudicing the case. Im surprised they allow it. ---------------------------- But is isn't one big case. It is 50+ women. The statue of limitations has run out, for all the women that were 18+ at the time. Except one woman, where the statue is 12 yrs were she lives. But the other women who were under 18 yrs old(some were as young as 15), can still file charges. And here, a state can file changes with or without her. Rape is a crime against the state. ( Which ever one of the many states it occurred in.) Not all women have publicly come forward. Some are listed as, " Jane Doe". Chances are they will not appear on TV, & they have never been interviewed by the press. They do not have to.The law gives them antimony. But at some point, they may press charges, it they were underage or the state it was committed in may. One was/ is, not American. I believe she is a Jamaican national & the crime occurred there. So I assume it is up to Jamaica to determine what the next step is. I doubt that woman, will be on TV either. |

Brown University has rescinded the honorary degree it granted Bill Cosby, becoming the third university to take such action in less than a week.
September 28, 2015 Brown President Christina H. Paxson says the university's board Friday revoked the doctorate of humane letters it granted Cosby in 1985. Fordham and Marquette universities Thursday also rescinded their honorary degrees. Paxon says the comedian received the degree for integrating his personal character into his fictional one while embracing such values as "honesty, fair play, love of family, and respect for humanity." She says Cosby admitted in legal depositions that he'd engaged in conduct with women "contrary to the values of Brown." He's admitted having extramarital relationships with several women, including some who now accuse him of sexual assault. He's never been charged with a crime. Guilty! |

Decision In Bill Cosby Rape Case
KAITLAN COLLINS Entertainment Editor Bill Cosby just lost his bid to stop another civil lawsuit against him. Judy Huth has accused Cosby of forcing her to perform a sex act on him when she was only 15 years old, and though Cosby asked Judge Craig Karlan to throw out the case, Karlan said it will proceed as planned and that the 78-year-old comedian must testify in court on Friday. Huth claims Cosby drugged and raped her at the Playboy mansion. The deposition, which will reportedly be videotaped, will be sealed until December. Gloria Allred is representing Huth. “I do think as an attorney I have a right to inform the public if I think there’s a danger to the public of a predator,” Allred said in a statement. “We’re very happy about the sanctions decision by the court because that could have ended the case but it did not.” Bill Cosby Raped Women Testimony 15 Year Old Girl Cosby Assault | The Daily Caller http://dailycaller.com/2015/10/08/judge-makes-big-decision-in-bill-cosby-rape-case ----------------------------------------- Bill Cosby Finally Goes to Court - The Daily Beast * Lengthy & graphic recall of a 15 & 16 year old girls. On Friday, Bill Cosby was deposed for 7½ hours at an undisclosed location in Boston, attorney Gloria Allred said at a news conference Saturday. But the lawyer's not done yet: Allred, who represents accuser Judy Huth, would like to depose him a second time, she said in a statement provided to PEOPLE. "We'll be filing motions with the court in connection with the deposition," Allred said. "We'll also be seeking to take a further deposition of Mr. Cosby at a later date." The normally effusive Allred could not answer questions or do more than read a prepared statement about Cosby's testimony due to a protective order by the judge. More than 50 women have now accused the entertainer of drugging and/or sexually assaulting them. One of them is Huth, who filed a civil suit saying he sexually assaulted her at the Playboy Mansion in 1974 when she was 15. Cosby's deposition will be sealed for at least 60 days, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled on Wednesday. However, the testimony could be made public after Dec. 22, when a hearing on the matter will be held. Cosby's chief spokeswoman, Monique Pressley, did not respond to PEOPLE's requests for comment on the suit, but Cosby's attorney, Marty Singer, has called Huth's accusations "absolutely false," "unreliable" and "untimely," alleging that Huth tried to sell her story 10 years ago to The National Enquirer. That is not the only deposition the 78-year-old Cosby may be facing in the coming weeks. On Friday, U.S. District Judge District Judge Mark Mastroianni refused to dismiss a defamation lawsuit filed against the entertainer by Tamara Green, Linda Joy Traita and Therese Serignese, who say Cosby not only sexually assaulted them, but his representatives also defamed them after they came forward with their stories. Their attorney, Joseph Cammarata, tells PEOPLE the he too will ask to depose Cosby. "We'll meet with the judge in a couple of weeks for scheduling purposes to ask him to provide us with certain written information and we're going to schedule his deposition," he says. It's not surprising Cosby's deposition in the Huth lawsuit may end up taking more than one day. His deposition for Andrea Constand's 2005 civil lawsuit against him – which he settled in 2006 – took four different sessions in the fall of 2005 and the spring of 2006, according to The New York Times, which obtained a copy of the deposition last July. In the deposition, Cosby admitted he gave Quaaludes to women before having sex with them. |
