I was bottle feed because I was a born a month before date. MUM did try and feed me but if was too stressful for her.
I had to stay in the hospital for that month and mum would come up everyday. They lived across the road.
I have two older sisters and dad was shearing at that time of year.
I was under 5 pounds. Was the smallest baby lol but made up for it later on.
mum always said I was a fighter.

I was bottle fed as a baby

I was a month premature and I was bottle fed. I only weighed 5 pounds.

I was a nightmare it would take me 4 hours to finish a bottle and by then my next bottle was due. ha ha

My twin brother would knock his back so quick he would puke it all back.

When my twin was about ten months old he used to like a drink in the night, so my mom put a bottle at the end of his cot, in the middle of the night he would drink it then hold it by the teat and throw the bottle up the wall.

I was bottle fed due to allergies. My two other children were bottle fed. My oldest was on lactose free formula.

I almost died soon after my son was born so was on medication and could not nurse. I did not ask the kids as felt it was a private matter between husband and wife.

It's a mix of both.

When my second was born, my midwife gave me a special silicone thingy to put over my nipple, so I could breastfeed my daughter without pain. And I did for almost 4 months.

If I had to do it over, I would breastfeed again. A shame to not do it. Of course if you can't, you have no choice.
But it's such a wonderful thing, the connection with your child ... the feeling of the milk being released. I actually missed that when I stopped breastfeeding, knowing my girly was my last, and I'd never ever experience that again.

Breastfeeding makes your nipples a tiny bit larger, a bit fuller and I'm really happy about that. Kinda silly to say maybe, but I like my nipples

I was breastfed as a baby and was also on the bottle. I was SO EXCITED to breastfeed my son when he was born, ALAS...It was short-lived!

I don't understand what it was about my nipples, the nurse called them flat nipples! Ugh! So I had to use a plastic nipple...LOL! To try to get my son latch on...??? That boy was NOT LATCHING AT ALL! LOL!

Sometimes he would work with me and sometimes he wouldn't

Breastfeeding him lasted ONLY A MONTH, when I was hoping for 4 months TOPS...So he was bottle fed the rest of his "baby days". Sighs...

I really enjoyed the BONDING that comes with breastfeeding your baby, he was a greedy-something (LOL) but I still enjoyed just the same.
