Thank you all for your words of encouragement and advice. I know time heals all things but it just hurts right now.

If you were married, try to mend it, if possible.

If you weren't married spend time healing and DO NOT JUMP into another relationship until you've had a chance to forgive the other person and yourself.

Don't blame yourself because no-one, no-one is perfect. What flaws you have, the other person has their own too.

Seek GOD because he can fill the void. In fact maybe it happened because you need to find GOD.

Hello, I'm new to posting. Just broke up with a guy. Having a hard time what's the best way to get over a break-up? Any suggestions?

You broke up with him. So come back here in four days and let us know how you are doing. I say this because it normally takes four days for the one who executed the break up to be over doing it.

We always have trouble trying to forget our ex. Just try to block him from your mind. Easier said than done. One minute at a time. If he enters any of your dreams, again, block all thoughts of him. You have to remain determined to never remember him. It's a bit more difficult if you have the same friends. Just keep remembering why the relationship ended.

Like they said, at least you weren't married. I was and just divorced after 6 years. The emotion ended a couple of years ago, but the financial hurt she caused will stick with me for another 5 years. Hard not to be bitter, when you're driving a 93 corolla and she has the vette and hummer.

being singularly strange, I think about him and remember the good times...sometimes we even talk now and then....and eventually it all just fades away and I'm over him. kind of like having too much of a favorite food or something. I really have not had much problem with that after all we would not have broken up if we were supposed to be together. So it's like seeing an old friend now and then.

sometimes breaking all contact is a good idea too at least for a little while...few days, months, depends on if he hassles you, ya, ya gotta raise the wall

Hello first to let you know that Im a man so my opinion could sounds easy to you cause that, like to be honest.Dont know what happend and sometimes after giving each other a certain space things can go back to normal and after all you bouth can save a relationship. If this is not the case and you are sure that is over the best to get over it,because we now that it herts a lot is to go out spend time with friends and try to meet new people, like they say one nail will push away the other one.It could be an easy solution or not.I dont know the reasons for the broke up of the relation, you know it so you have to think about if it is worth it to give it a second chance before throughing everything away. You should know that most of the times guys act stupet and dont think about what we are about to loose cause of a stupit action.thats all I can say

all the times I warned him of it
how I am right and know I.am right and pissed I gave him more than one chance to become a better man and he blew it
