Anyway you wanna spin it, a liar is....a liar.

Then why aren't you calling for Bruce Jenner to return his gold medals or the millions of dollars he made off his fame since the wheaties covers? He gained financially and is still doing so directly from lying and deceiving. He isn't a he. Marion Jones lost her medals. Lance Armstrong lost many trophies and had to pay millions in damages to the postal service his biggest sponsor. Ms. Dolezal has issues with her estranged parents, now she's out of a job because, we don't know why just yet but she is taking a considerable loss for standing up for what she believes in and the people she has chosen to HELP. I don't care what color her skin is and neither does the NAACP who has stated on the record that skin color has nothing to do with attaining her position. Why does anybody else as long as she is doing good in this world? Explain that to me, if you can.

This would be relevant if he competed as a woman, but was genetically a man.

He won the medals as a man vs men. So why the hell does he or she or whatever have to give them back now?

Because if Bruce can afford the operation and wants to be Kaitlyn he can be Kaitlyn. Rachel Dolezal is Rachel Dolezal. She's not changing names or evading taxes. She's living her life and doing good things for people less fortunate than she was. If her broken relationship with her parents is a crime then 96.3% of people born in the last 75 years would be serving life sentences. She didn't have to have surgery to bolt on accessories. She married, had children of her own and dedicated her life to helping people. The NAACP said that race was not a determining factor for her or any other employees. She didn't 'sneak' in and tie up her predecessor, she worked her way up through the organizationto what is assumed to be a position of power. Her coworkers certainly knew who she was. They may not have known what race she checked off on some official document because it was private and confidential. Homosexuals do not have to disclose their orientation, and asking them accusing them or talking about them negatively can range from grounds for dismissal to a sexual harassment lawsuit [IF doing so makes them uncomfortable].

There is a documentary entitled 'The Woman That Wasn't There'..

I suggest you watch it if you haven't already. This documentary covers all the points you just made from the perspective of the people that were lied to by someone that did a very good job helping them.

No this is a fallacy, red herring to be exact. I have seen the documentary. That lady claimed to be a victim of 9/11. She actually did sneak in and create a totally non existent story that was a prerequisite to her becoming part of a group of victims who she was ultimately hurting for her own gain which in this case was public notoriety. She was included and given access to exclusive information, meeting high profile celebrities, all based on her in depth fabrication of a relationship with a victim that never occurred. Ask anyone who actually was present or lost a loved one on that terrible day about how she helped or contributed to victims or survivors. She has since been completly disassociated or banned from any such group or activities.

Rachel Dolezal didn't claim to be a victim of the Watts riots, the Gena 6or any other hate crime against blacks or other minorities. I can tell you this with absolute certainty, she knows personally what racism is. She knows first-hand. #1 because of her adopted brothers. She had to explain her parents actions, lose friends, be talked about behind her back and to her face because of what her parents did, give birth to her and tell her these guys are your brothers. She didn't chose her parents or who they would adopt and raise her alongside. No child looks at who is waving to them through the nursery window and switches the nametag with the next baby of a different race. Her hair, how many women color curl or braid their hair, put on lipstick or gloss, fake nails, fake lashes, eyeshadow? How many get plastic surgery or braces? None of these things change who you are genetically but have some if not all the impact on what race of people identify WITH YOU. She didn't become President of her chapter because they thought she was or wasn't black. If Ms Dolezal is such an audacious liar and wrongdoer why would her coworkers and The NAACP release a statement saying that her race was not a determining factor for her employment? Why wouldn't they burn her at the stake? They had more than enough opportunity to do so before she became President of her chapter. I'm pretty sure she didn't steal her spray tan or some of the elaborate hairstyles society would associate with black women. I'm pretty sure you can't hold anyone at gunpoint for 4-6 hours while they are gluing in extensions or curling your hair with chemicals strong enough to cause serious permanent damage. If the NAACP doesnt care what color she is why do you?

I did ask the question

did she say she got kicked out? I simply missed it if she did.

The way I see it is...she lied about her race and qorked at the NAACP amd maintained that lie. Her own parents ratted her out. They are willing to take a DNA test to proves she is their daughter, since she has been telling people she isn't sure they are her biological parents. She relates to black more than white and feels black. Different races have different feelings?

She reported her race on a document that for anyone else would have been Confidential. They didn't say on the news who released that document because disclosure of confidential information without subpoena is illegal. The only reason which box she or anyone checks on those documents matters is when, well, never. Since it is illegal to hire fire appointment or remove someone from a position based upon their skin color, it doesn't matter. It's very different from reporting income or properties for tax purposes or testifying falsely under oath.
So far as feeling different, at birth, no we don't. As we progress through our lives and encounter different races cultures social groups, there is a definite difference. Go to any low income urban area in the US honk your horn and start yelling racial slurs and tell me how different you feel.

You didn't miss it, she announced she was stepping down. She probably disowned her parents because her brothers said they want her to come back and be a part of the family again.

I am referring to an article that said her parents released her true identy to the local paper. This woman was telling people she doesn't think her parents are her biological parents.

Why do you keep bringing up racists or racial slurs?

The woman is white and lied about being black. Which race should be offended? For me it is her lying

what would have happened if she didn't "quit"... was she doing a bad job? was she losing the NAACP money? did she need to be replaced? was she a spy?

Yellowrose, what would it change if she had marked other, Asian, Hispanic? Nothing. Would she have earned more money? No. Was she qualified to perform the duties of the position she worked herself up to? If not I don't think that she would have been chapter President. If her parents do a DNA test and prove they are her birth parents does it mean that she is not multiracial as she claims? NO. Millions of people in the US do not know that they are related to blacks, Hispanics, native-americans, Asians, etc because of concubinage is not something that prominent families were proud of but many cases produced bastard mixed race offspring. Some were aborted some sold as slaves, some kept the father/holder's name some didn't.

Anyway, it's not like the NAACP told her she could only be President of her chapter if she checked that she was something other than white. That sounds absurd right? Because it is. Checking the wrong race box(es) is not a crime. Saying that you have a college degree when you don't or listing former employers you didn't work for may be depending on local laws and the job you're applying for might be.

This biotch even lied about her own family claiming a black man as her father rather than her birth parent.....

But lying seems to be common place and acceptable among liberals

claiming a black man as her father rather than her birth parent.....

Bingo. This is what everyone is mad about but how does anyone outside her and her 'family' know the reason why? We don't because we have not been informed. We don't because it's her PRIVATE issue that if nothing else is clear defamation of character. What if her family abused her or other foster kids? What if the foster kids were a tax writeoff?
We don't know. What if this black man was more of a parent to her than both alleged 'birth parents' were combined? We don't know and she has the right to keep that private as long as she's not profiting directly from 'the lie'. I don't care if she says that she was born on Mercury and moved to earth because the weather is better as long as she's doing good deeds paying taxes and not hurting anybody in the process. Her parents didn't appear to be in any distress whatsoever during their interview but she shut down after she realized what they asked her which anyone who uses the POW MIA patch should know is an obvious sign of PTSD. I guess the pursuit of happiness isn't important and we don't need first amendment rights or the privacy act of 1974. Everyone should be investigated until a lie is exposed and punished to the full extent with no laws to get in the way.

Her real parents gave a detailed interview on TV. We are pretty well informed.

The mayor just removed her from her consultant status with the city. Apparently she leaked confidential information.

It never ceases to amaze me the defense of this type of dishonesty by liberals.

That has nothing to do with the NAACP who defended her.
I guess we as AMERICANS are not supposed to stand up for what WE believe in anymore. The 'detailed interview' is one sided.
