To the..The Mingle mod..female 27..from San Francisco. .California. ..keeps sending me a generic explanation about my pics...and deleting them..
Why not just do it all at once??? Instead of nitpicking me,every few days... And when I tried to respond..I get nothing but the same generic message. I am a person,with feelings,not a number~. Soooo.yea..why don't you just delete all the ones you don't approve of...at once.please and thank you. Sherrie.aka.2K. |

So, Sherrie, what's happening is that when we purge an account's main photo, the next secondary photo gets put into the group of main photos. Since we're only accepting real photos as main photos now, this becomes a situation in which each successive photo ends up being purged and an email sent to you. All of your photos would be acceptable as secondary photos, but you have no main photo of yourself. Any member without a main photo of him or herself can expect this sooner or later. In the end, it is not our intent to harass or single you out. We will try to figure out another way to handle cases such as yours, where you are only here for the forums.

And I received a message signed " Mingle2 Team 2 ", which I immediately respond to, & have not heard back. My profile pic was a close up of myself & it was also clear . And the only pic on my profile. Yet the message says, that it what I need to put up. |

Got another generic message this morning..and deleted another of my profile pics..
Pretty soon I won't even be visible or have a personality. I'm not feeling real loved... |

I took down my first photo, because I had sunglasses on. Then I posted a nice photo which I cropped myself, without sunglasses. Mingle 2 sent me an email today stating they had taken the new photo down, with some generic reason. Why did they do this?

2KidsMom, we're trying to come up with a solution for members in your position.
rileyannt, a mistake could have been made with regard to your account. With our new system, I know I have made such a mistake. You could try uploading it again (SassyEuro2 did and it worked out). |

Like 2Kids, I have recently experienced the same email from "Jamie".
I have had a facial picture up for months. The picture in question was of a snow scene I personally took. Potential conversation starter and showed my interest in nature. Zero M2 rules were broken. Yet it was removed. Why not the other picture I took of the Santa Monica Pier? Confusing... Thank you for your time and energy... |

I got a message after having a rose or whatever since 07. I understand what you are trying to do, but not everyone is here to date. Some are for the forums. Plus I have a psycho ex and nervous about a picture. I hope ypu might take these things into consideration

The new picture rules is you must have a picture of yourself as the main picture. You may have other picture of other things within your pictures. But you can not use those pictures as your main picture if you do they will see it as your main picture delete it and will send you a warning...
Actually the rules have always been that way. But was never enforced.. Site is making changes and leaning more towards a Dating Site. Therefore pictures are required. Here are the Photo Guidelines... instead of you in every picture they are allowing other pictures of scenes ect. But it can not be your main Photo...... Photo Guidelines No suggestive photos, nudity, or obscene gestures No disturbing images or images of illegal activities No copyrighted material You should be in all photos Photos should be in .gif, .jpg, or .bmp format Make sure the filesize of the photo is not too large or it will not upload properly Site Mod Kristi |

Hiii. Kristi...I get what your saying,and I fully understand we are allowed to have other things within our profile pictures that's why I could not understand my main profile picture was not messed with, it was all of my other pictures that are being one by one deleted by the female mod with the generic explanations and when I tried to inquire about my main pic, my Green Clown, Asking her~was it ok? to leave up...and all I got was another picture out of my profile deleted and no answer to my actual question...just the same generic message.
Just saying.. no need to respond I was just making you aware of what happened to me I appreciate all the effort. |

When you place a picture in the 'Main Pic' slot it will allow you to designate it as "Public" or "Private." You do this by left-clicking on the photo. To give someone access to the 'Private' images, you merely right-click on the 'Private' photo which gives you a drop-down menu, left-click on 'Properties' and copy the URL (link) of that photo and send it via email to anyone you wish. It stays 'Private.' |

I had a face photo up and it got removed, so I put it up again only to have it removed again. I dont understand why as it was of me and was not offensive in any way. why was it taken down?

Eventually, 2469nascar, this will happen to any member that does not have a photo of his or her face in the main photo position. We have no intentions of singling anybody out. If you leave such a photo in a secondary photo slot, though, it will not be removed. mplsminnieme, the private photo option does exist for now, but you'd have to have your face in the main photo position to be able to use it. This would defeat your purpose, of course. bellamystique, it could be that your face is not visible enough for our screeners' standards. The bottom line here is that we are enforcing a rule that has been there for as long as the site has. While we are trying to find a way for everybody to get what they want, it may not be possible. Charles, ive had a photo deleted and a message off a mingle worker using the mingle logo as a profile picture saying my photo was took off because it didn't show my face clearly, but in my opinion it did, and it WASNT a main photo, even so because it was a secondary why was it removed? I only had the email today and it said the user who messaged me from mingle hadn't been on the site for 2 weeks.  I was just a bunny rabbit, with my face, that's all  I would appreciate your advice. thank you.
