For a free site, Mingle is left found wanting. I supposedly have 5 "matches" & yet, too, no way to communicate. Silly, really.
I'd love to meet a like-minded, intelligent woman; but only, it seems, if I pay.

So, I figured I'd post here this: I'm 37 (almost), smart & "good", & I'm not looking just to get laid like, I think, many herein are. I want, really, to simply meet some amazing girls with smarts. Of course attraction is a huge plus, but simply meeting a real woman would be nice.

Hopefully this post will be seen by real people, real women; not internet bots.

Will go to a nightclub and drop a hundred and fifty bucks on drinks trying to meet a woman....but throwing a twenty at a web site is too much?

I don't know how much it is, but imagine it would be much less expensive than bar hopping, countless dinner dates, and other time consuming and budget draining activities utilized in vetting potential mates.

Or you COULD not worry about those matches and "cruise" the forums.

Or just be quiet and take it like a man.

Have my profile on three..scratch that..four free sites. all about same in my opinion.This one tends to have more global visitors but ya get good at spotting them

I also have a profile on 4 free dating sites and have not had much luck finding a woman who is close by where I live.

I usually just sing my frustration out, when I sing on the karaoke. . Singing is much more productive than punching someone. I always wonder if things will change for dating sites? Is there a better way around this? People seem stuck.

Humm free site means you do all the work they just give you a site to go to with a few tools to use if you so choose. It does not mean women/men will flock to you any more then they would in a bar.. You sit back and watch and they will go towards those that take the time to get to know them.

I agree...99% scammers. It really sucks, and I hate to think there is anyone out there not bright enough to know the difference.

Filipinos, Scandinavians, Nigerians, Britons, Ecuadorans, Russians, Aussies, etc., need love too!

Heck, I'm to the point I would even consider a Canadian or New Zealander!

You could insult/blame your family for not teaching you any social graces? (I bet they tried.)

You could insult/blame your teachers for not teaching you how to create a written presentation about yourself that informs or inspires people to contact you. But of course if they flunked you for poor effort they would have not had the pleasure of seeing you again point out that you are an inattentive student who clearly does not follow instruction.

You could insult/blame your employer for not paying you more than you are worth so you can buy the paid versions. (Not that I think it's necessary. The free one has worked just great for me and others.

Heck you could even blame the weatherman for not plucking you out a pretty little rainbow to point you toward your entitled little pot of gold the very first few posts you are on this site.

Perhaps you should call your doctor and see if you are in need of and evaluation for a persecution complex or delusions of grandure? But then maybe they would just tell you that all the people you blame for your failures in life have one thing in common YOU.

Instead of griping OP starting using the tools available and work it.This site is good for relaxed casual interaction if that is what you want. IF you want a date it is good for that also...

Op people have gotten together on this site and found love ... and paying for a site can get you some creepy people to ... so a friend says who paid once ... not this one another one ... I say when it happens it happens ... this site gives good forums that's... why I mainly stay ...
