I am sure most of you would agree that there have been too many crappy topics here lately. There was even a topic about bowel movements. Now, that's crappy.
I'd like to create a thread here that will run for 10 years or more. Any topic suggestions? |

Seems that regardless of what the topic/thread they always devolve into something 'SEXUAL' and often pretty twisted too 
But there's quite a few of 'US' really smart arses around here that just seem DRIVEN to do! But your idea has merit but will you/me/we really still be around in another 10 years

My first instinct was to make a "poo" joke.
How about: Describe in detail your last date, or if there hasn't been one lately, your newest idea of a "dream" date... or just comment on one here.

I know that America is a divided nation on the subject of abortion and I know there are arguments for and against this emotive topic. Would you care to share your views on the subject?

1) The discrepancy between the way people behave online, and their real (or at least testified) behavior in real life. Pros/Cons of chatting over the internet.
2) Generational views on romance, male/female relationships, the growing acceptance of homosexuality and "non-standard" relationships. Differences between. Continuation of "traditional/standard" values and their conscious perpetuation. 3) Cats and kittens! (Seriously, that new cat thread's gonna be around a while.) 4) A philosophical enquiry into the nature of love, honor, and societal expectations of both. 5) Where to draw the line between acquaintance, friendship, romance, and lifelong partners/soul-mates. What kinds of love each expresses (love for humanity in general, to love for a specific character trait, etc). 6) What I Would Do If I Ruled the World, And Why (abridged) 7) People Doing Stupid Things, Caught On Film And Posted On The Internet, Book I (a never-ending supply!) |

The first one sounds different. Your 6th suggestion is not new but good one. The rest have been beaten to death too many times in the forums, with different spins on the same premise. As for your 7th suggestion, why?

try this........google............... "interesting conversation topics".........
about 8,190,000 results in 0.37 seconds..... anybody......pick one that's interesting to you, post it and then see if it takes off...if it doesn't, it will be headed off to the cyber-dumpyard alongside this one... then just try another of the 8 some million of them.... it's not like anybody is wasting any paper or anything... glad to be of help
