Sometimes, no reply is a reply.

Just as some people use another person's photo for their profile image.
At least, that is what Aravind Swamy would think about his photo being used by a member here.

Sometimes I am not interested. Sometimes if someone just writes to me "Hi", it really shows no effort at all. If I contact someone, I put some thought into it.

there are many different ways of saying it, but in the end it comes down to one thing.

They didn't want to reply to you... that's it.

some will reply and some wont, i they do then great! if not just move on until you do.

I used to have the same problem for years. Unfortunately some of the profiles are really stale. People will put the profiles and then just abandoned them. It is sad that they don't have the respect to take down their profile when inactive. Usually if you contact someone who is online your chances are better. A lot of people in the forums will answer you, even if they are not attracted to you. I have met many people on the forums that will never date me, or that I will never date. But they are nice anyway. I have seen some profiles that are exactly the same as they were four years ago with the same picture. I usually don't write those people.

At long last, somebody finally gets it!!!!!!

If I send a message to a man and get no response, there are many possible reasons for that: inactive account, I live too far away, doesn't like that I have no picture, They share none of the same interests, etc. I don't dwell. I move on. If a man were really, really interested and talked for awhile, I send a photo and I have met in person several times.
