It does not look like this is the year for finding him. But, I also don't believe that is set in stone as I think you hit the nail on the head with your statement regarding your requirements. The person in this card is holding on very tightly to what he has. Too tightly. You may find more success by letting go some of your ideas regarding what you believe you need in a man and trust the Universe a little more to bring the right person to you.

I'll be taking a break from this for a few days. One of the challenges I have as a reader is staying detached from the people I read for. Whenever I read for someone a little attachment cord is formed between us and I'm not super good with cutting that right away. Last night I was up too late worrying about all of you.

But, I enjoy this very much and I'll be back to do more readings in a few days.

It was a barn owl in my dream and I did not know that about the connection to mediumship. Interesting because it's my mediumship skills that I have been focusing on the last year.

I would very much hope that this thread helps Minglers see each other as the vulnerable human beings they are. It's so easy to see a picture and a screen name and form a judgement or opinion based on that and a few posts written in the forums. And we forget that there is a real person with real feelings there who is just looking for someone to love or looking for some human interaction and conversation.

I have posted the painting here, it's nearly done. The owl is in the distance, but it really had to be in the painting :) In my meditation it came flying to me exactly like in the painting, holding a golden ring. Then it turned into Brighid, Celtic goddess. I don't think she is typically connected with the owl, but not sure now ... my brain stopped working about half an hour ago, lol. It was, however, Brighid without a doubt.
