THinking how peculiar it is that some people -barely a handful - always manage to make you feel happy when you see them, no matter how or what.
My old neighbour kid dropped in totally out of the blue, he's not a kid anymore, 25 - 26. And he's one of those people. Always happy to see him. Such a nice bloke. Just dawned on me why he has that effect. I've never ever seen him depressed, grumpy, pissed off - although I know he can be PO, and is someone to be reckoned with -, but he's always cheerful, happy, doesn't judge anyone, always eager to learn, talk etc. If only more people were like him, the world would be such a great place! Sometimes I really feel this younger generation 24-26ish has got their chit together far more than we do... I never really like ppl dropping in just like that, but when he's at the door, I can't help but smile. |
