U might think otherwise.. But at some specific stage of life u also hav think lyk dis.. At 21, what exactly, qualifies you to tell other people how they have to think? I think he means at some point most people stop playing around and get serious & only want one partner. |

Aditya - 'A word of ADVICE for you'
From my experiences in the 'recent' past, I have observed that people of 'English speaking Nations' feel comfortable in 'reading & writing' proper English, even if it's 'Internet Chat' sessions. There may occur 'grammatical mistakes' but as we all know the paradigm 'To Err, Is Human'; Still, 'they' prefer to interact in 'proper' well laid out 'English'. I hope 'you' are getting my 'point'! I would suggest you to write 'proper' English (your sentences needn't be long); but do 'AVOID' writing SMS language here. I'm sure that you will certainly receive more responses that might prove to be valuable for you, at some phase in your life. Trust me, 'communique' in 'proper English' has its own 'charm'. Try it out. You won't be disappointed! Good Luck! |

Very difficult if English is the 3rd one. Next to Mandarin I think English is the most complex. |

Next to Mandarin I think English is the most complex. Thank you for 'that' piece of information, Sassy! To be 'honest' with you, I wasn't aware of those facts, being an 'Indian' by origin, myself. However, what I suggested to 'him', probably doesn't fall in 'line' with what you 'enlightened' me upon, probably because, to 'him', English isn't difficult (or 'complex' for that matter). I mean, someone who types: 'dis' knows that word to be 'this' 'lyk' knows that word to be 'like' 'dat' knows that word to be 'that' 'mnnr' knows that word to be 'manner' It wasn't out of 'ignorance' that 'he' was typing 'that' way; he chose to implement that approach as his 'style', probably thinking that it's 'modernization' or more appropriately 'westernization' I (myself) suffered from 'such' delusion, in the past. 'Time' has helped me learn the truth, and that is: Western culture DOESN'T appreciate such 'mutilation' of the noble columns of 'English Language'. 'They' prefer to write in 'full' and well laid-out sentences. I might be mistaken in my point of view; but that's what I feel & advised 'him' in the process. Nothing 'personal'. Each one is 'free' to follow 'her/his' will. Thank You (for having the 'patience' to read this). |

Its true its being a trend now... True love has just vanished.. Its only a excitd for newbies at love.. But matured ones know what is lov about.. Pick a one.. Date her/him next day..and the next day he/she in on ur bed.. N dis thing is excitin n enjoyin one... What u all think.. Com n debate on dis While I quite enjoy sex, he wouldn't be in my bed by the next day. If it went that quick, I'd start wondering what the hell was wrong with me. Kissing, yes, but I have standards. I'm no cheapskate. I like to keep man on his toes. Have sex too soon, and there'll be nothing to wonder about. |

Which doesn't save time ...if I have to keep asking for her to explain. It drives me crazy & I lose interest. Then she assumes I don't care. So it may be generational as well. |

'Loose' is the opposite of 'Tight' (For example: 'Loose' fitting garment) 'Lose' is the opposite of 'Find' (I 'LOSE' interest) I admit the 'reality' of your views, Sassy. So very true, what you said. I understand. Yes, it does seem to be a classic manifestation of a 'Generation Gap'! |
