Topic: what is the weirdest food that you have eaten?

Dog,cat, ostrich, sea cucumber, cow brains, tripe, "sweet bread", Rocky mountain oysters, eel, pheasant, tongue, alligator tail, frog legs, escargot, conch, eyeball soup, plantains, pig hooves, soft shell crab, quail egg, prickly pear, rose petals, dog food, elk ribs, sole fish, trout eyes, fried snickers, fried Oreos, jalapeno chocolate cake in the bbq grill. I am sure there are some others, but I cannot think of them. What can I say curiosity killed the cat OMGosh!!...You really tried all that stuff? That's like Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmerman...Love that show. You're crazy....haha...

Chocolate bacon, in Massachusetts, when I was on holiday there. Deep fried Mars bars here in Scotland and deep fried creme eggs also. Now those are really good, believe it or not? Until you try them, don't knock them, as they surprised me!

Chocolate bacon, in Massachusetts, when I was on holiday there. Deep fried Mars bars here in Scotland and deep fried creme eggs also. Now those are really good, believe it or not? Until you try them, don't knock them, as they surprised me! Yeah I tried the chocolate covered bacon thing also. Oh and bacon mints and bacon soda pop. Not a fan. But I tried them

"BALUT from the Philippines" I thought i would like the balut for i am a Filipino, but when i tried to chew and swallow it, urrggghh. i could feel the chicks bones and feathers running down to my throat. >.<

WHEW...nearly lost my breakfast following that post --- GAGGING Oysters on the � shell; something not right about that slimy thing going down like that --- no - NOOO WAY...granted I was only about 10 yrs old but that rush to the bathroom of that swanky restaurant was one mad dash!!! And I nearly didn't make it; my parents were horrified I was going to toss up my 'DARE' right there in front of all those WEALTHY PEOPLE...might have been fun to watch the reactions! Grew up on a farm so we ate the entire: cow/goat/pig...and I remember really liking ground tongue sandwiches until I walked into the cook house and saw mom & grandma pulling that huge tongue up out of that boiling pot on the wood stove --- OMG...that was BESSY, our old milk cow --- that tongue used to give me kisses!!! Totally FREAKED ME OUT

Crocodile. Or zebra. Depending on which you think is weirder. Crocodile is bland and greasy, and zebra is stringy. I wouldn't personally recommend either.
