I started EverQuest in 1999 with Zaxlothon the Iksar Necromancer. I have quit playing EQ, but I have Zaxlothon clones in EverQuest II (retired), World of Warcraft (retired), Guild Wars (retired), City of Villians (retired), (couple betas I can't mention) and Eve-Online (Active). If anyone tries Eve-Online or if anyone is planning on getting "Hellgate:London" or "Age of Conan" when they hit the stores let me know and we can group up.

what game would be cool for me to get started again, but it has to be a computer game because i don't have any of the new video game consoles.

I would suggest giving WoW a try (I think you can do a 15 day trial for $1.99)

If you like Space Operas and you are somewhat anal, then try Eve-Online. It's free to try for 14 days.

You can also try Everquest for free and probably EverQuest 2.

Do free trials, no reason to blow $40 on a game you don't like.

wow is super poplular so that would be an easy one to jump into lonely. although persnally i havent gotten to that one yet.

I keep jumping back and forth from game to game. I was hardcore into The Matrix Online for years. When that began to die I tried WoW. And hated it. Warcraft makes my everything hurt.

I'm pleasantly surprised to find that EQII has gotten much better since launch, so maybe I have a new home. I'm rather looking forward to Tabula Rasa at the end of the month, despite the fact that it's sci-fi.

I'm always changing the name I use on games. Every character has a different personality, which makes it hard to recycle names. I've always been partial to a devilish character named Rhaes though.

I play WOW all the time, and I don't have a single friend on there. Tho it means I tend to die alot and can't do group quests, but at least I can shoot fireballs!
