The only thing I'd add to what's been said is: Cheating is a weapon that gets used when the consequences no longer matter. At its most elemental level - 'Hurray for me and to hell with you.' true ...I saw that in both of my marriages ...'Hurray for me and to hell with you.' with how I was treated... and they are saying now... that the economy is better... more are getting divorced ... just hear say ... |

.. for the same reason everybody does.. they want to know if they are still desirable.... a lot of times it's just.
a matter of. opportunity.... they are out with there girlfriends for a couple drinks.. the relationship there in now isn't going so good.... they have questions about the future.. and then in walks.. Joe slick... good looking... snappy dresser..lol... smooth talker.... everything there now.. partner is not....hmm.... Soo.. she starts drinking.. heavier.. knowing she can blame it on the liquor later...lol.... some of them do it because they feel trapped... they no there is no getting out of the relationship... they are now in..... .. so they seek.. out a physical relationship.... it makes them feel alive.... like they're still desired.... there is still a possibility... that someone else could want them.... . I guess..lol . . . . |

There is no standardized reason. If a woman cheated on you, there was a flaw in your relationship. If you want the reason, get it from the woman who cheated. No other person could possibly tell you why she did. Please note, she'll probably either say, "I don't know" or tell you some things you don't want to hear. But if you must know...

the people that cheat both men and women, have different reasons,
in the end, they 'try' to 'justify' it by saying well 'i did it because you...' or 'i never meant...' or any other myriad of EXCUSES, there is NEVER an acceptable reason for cheating. If you cheat, if they cheat, it's because it was YOUR/THEIR choice, they also have the choice to end a relationship and move on with someone else, if they don't do that first, then they are being selfish, 'trying out' whether they want to give up their 'safety' net. I honestly think some people also cheat because they know their partner will ALLOW them to...sure they'll be mad, but perhaps they think they will forgive them, and 'try again'. I honestly don't worry about my girlfriend cheating on me anymore, 1. i've let her know if she cheats, i'm out, she'll come home to an empty house and i'll be gone, 2.i'll also blast it all over to her family and my family on why i left so they understand. 3. She knows my personality and that if i say i'm going to this i'll follow through, then the choice is on her on whether or not she wants to accept those consequences. On the other hand, if she says it's not working and she wants to end it, i'm cool with that too, if it turns out we don't want to be with each other then i'd rather her be happy, and i'd rather not be with someone that doesn't want to stay. So no consequences that way.....but that's just me. |

I believe that if I wanted to cheat, and was looking at somebody else, there is no deep bond of love there. The relationship should be ended and respect that it is due to someone you had cared for before that would happen. If just going out and cheating and found out, well, that is flagrant betrayal with motives meant to hurt the other.

.. probably because they don't have a good enough reason to leave the relationship.. there now in... they may not like.. everything about the relationship.. but they're not ready to throw it all away..... they just want some excitement.. night out. fun laughter.. the way they felt when they first started dating way back when..... Electric kisses.. passionate.. love making.... a reminder of what they used to have..... they want to feel like a woman again.... sexy desirable.. like what they have to say matters... someone that really listen to them....
. but they're not ready to leave their full time relationship.. . they have too much invested.... but then again if they meet that right guy... that can give them everything they are not getting now.. .. and make them feel protected.. needed desired valued.... . then they probably will leave.... but we all know that relationship never works out..... but it is enough to get them out and from under.. the relationship they are in now.... I guess..lol |
