i don't doubt that human knowledge/science and understanding will always have room for progress and discovery

on the other hand,

i also don't doubt that there is a limit as to the amount and extent of knowledge that will be available for the consumption of our little human and mortal brains...

and what is the end of that limit for us... is simply the beginning of the existence of another wider scope of knowledge

there is some middle ground... science could prove the existence of gods and demons... we just don't really know at this moment in time...

how is that a contradiction? i never said they didn't exist. i simply said i don't believe they do because i haven't seen them, meaning i have no faith in something i haven't seen... your thinking i'm closed to idea that they could be real when i'm not... why do you think i went to the haunted places?

just because i haven't seen any evidence myself means nothing, that could change at any time... but as for now, i have to go with what i've seen, which is nothing...

be honest with you, i would love to see/find some evidence... who knows what the future holds? i would even attend an exorcism, if they would let me, but that is kinda remote...

Not all physical btw... we also had non-physical stuff appear/happen in my ex's house that we couldn't find any rational explanation for. And my ex was probably even more skeptical than you.

I don't see anything myself, did as a kid, but not anymore. I don't want to. Feeling things can be overwhelming enough :/ And it scares me to be honest. Not feeling things that are normal to me, ppl's energies, energies around us. But being able to feel those, means you can also feel less pleasant stuff. Not keen on that, but have learnt to deal with it if need be.
Sometimes I hear things, did as a kid as well. Don't like that much either.
The last thing I've heard, can't even describe it, other than "not from this realm". And I wasn't scared, worried, anxious when I heard it. I was totally happy, at peace. So no psychological reason for it whatsoever.

I think you mostly don't see/hear/feel anything because A you're not tuned in and B you are very strong. No point in trying to reveal yourself to someone who won't hear/see/feel you nor to upset someone who's not easily upset.
You'd prolly make an excellent exorcist if you were taught how to tune in etc.

I'm now wondering if you'd feel it if someone experienced/strong would tune into your energy system. You'd sort of 'whack' them (energetically) if you didn't like it, but I wonder whether you'd be aware of that or not.

Attending an exorcism is no laughing matter. When we performed this at the temple, only those who are 'protected' or 'strong enough' to help are allowed to assist. This is to prevent the entity within from leaping. In the case of the sisters that I mentioned earlier, the sister were all affected in turns.

When I was assisting, the entity/victim described those of us assisting as 'tigers' and it/she was scared that the master/shi fu had them beside him.

I have had my share of feeling their existence, especially during times when I am physically weak/sick and felt the terror of their presence though I did not visually see them. My son, then 3 or 4, described what he saw as a 'lady in white' who was beckoning him to go over, but the smart boy just kept close to me.
