I suffer with very bad sickness, have you tried a glass of milk just to line you tummy? Sometimes that helps me.

Just be careful, because flu can lead to a bacterial infection in the chest especially, then you would need antiobiotics. Just keep a check on your temperature. ((((( soufie)))))

Just had a cup of milk :-)
Fever steady just under 100*.
Brain dead.

Good, if you can't eat milk is better than nothing. But try to drink other fluids to.

If your chest starts wheezing or rattling, or you start coughing up gunk, that's a definite sign you could have developed a chest infection. A lot of people develop a chest infection with the flu, especially if you can't do much and your lieing down a lot. flowerforyou

Been wheezing since day one, Eric likes to listen to it,
it is like I am singing...he had it the week before I got
it, he is not over it yet though he went back to work
after 4 days. Romeo must have gotten something else as this
is sure not a one-dayer :-(

Mustard plaster poultice on the chest.
Strong ginger tea.(lots of it).
Rub garlic on the bottoms of your feet.
If you can find it...pau d'arco, as tea or in capsule form.
^^^^^^^^Will cure you^^^^^

I don't have the energy for any of that.

Usually being sick can make you weak & my fear was being weak to train but I hit the gym on Monday & feared I lost my strength a lil from not eating when I felt sick but thankfully I didn't & trained heavy as usual.....
Resistance training can build up your immune system

The mustard poultice increases blood flow and lymph flow.
That fights the disease and promotes healing.
Anti bacterial and anti viral compounds in the garlic will absorb directly into your
blood stream.

I daresay it would be very hard to workout
and be unable to breathe simultaneously.

Well that is interesting, I have heard of both but never tried them.
(It doesn't make one look like one of your WalMart ladies does it??)

Maybe....if you strap 85 poultices to your rear,
and slip into yoga pants.
Oh..parsley can help relax your airway (bronchials) if they are tight.

*speaking of Walmart...

I always use the disinfecting wipes to wipe off the cart handles at any store I'm at. Dirty germs. sick

Man, I fight taking anything I have to ingest.
Blasted nausea, 'round the clock. All I can
do to take water to get pills down.
Pitiful, I know :-)

So, can one get a mustard poultice from the pharmacy?
Or will they look at me and tell me to go back to the
Dickens novel I so obviously just escaped from?

Just a thought soufie, if you lieing down a lot, keep yourself propped up as much as you can comfortably so your chest doesn't build up secretions. flowerforyou

Ya, very hard to sit upright, tho I am trying (by sitting at
my desk here) but tis hard to keep me eyes open.

I see the smartness of that tho.

They are easy to make.
