oh goodness
these threads invoke an array of reactions ,,frustration at some of the more offensive or confrontational/bullyishthreads ...laughter at some of the sillier threads and posts ..confusion about some of the paraphrasing and how far off it is(there is ALOT of that) ....inspiration by some of the more thoughtful and inciting threads and posts,,,,, thank goodness, Im able to shut it off and leave it when I sign off,,, |

There are a lot of clever people out there.
There are a lot of wise people out there too. There are some funny people out there as well and I enjoy all. The scammers spoil it somewhat but some people don't like to see anyone happy in real life either. |

I honestly think these forums are a lot less hostile, more thought provoking, and more likely to make you leave with a smile on your face then say youtube hahaha and the people here just make it that way

The more I visit the Mingle forums, the more I find them thought provoking or funny. Most times, after reading funny replies to threads, I leave with a smile on face, Or on some days with thoughts bubbling in my one watt brain, after reading deeply thought provoking threads or questions from other members. Does anyone else find it the same? Maybe it's because I'm fairly new to the forum but I sometimes cringe at the responses to a post. I'm not talking about the comments that are funny or comical but there are some that are abrasive and very sarcastic. I have not originated many posts but if I was just starting out here and received responses like that I'd think twice before posting again. |

Agreed  I would like to mention that I am on another dating site that has forums as well, but like someone earlier said, that site seems to be mostly negative. I wouldn't post there if you paid me to!  (welllll...maybe for the right amount of dough) And please don't pay me with monopoly money again...I can't seem to spend it anywhere except to pay rent and buy property

I agree with you I also leave here many nights laughing and its enjoying. I try to stay away from the threads where everyone is arguing because why get aggravated the real world does a good enough job of that. I also like the personal glimpses we get of each other there are some really nice people here.

I also like the personal glimpses we get of each other there are some really nice people here.  you know, I tell myself not to go to some debates, but there's something that compels me to speak up, usually at feeling the unfairness of some statements. you're right though. there are some nice people here and you do get insight and make friends. |
