I'm not contradicting what I said
I said that men are lucky women don't go on strike or some such..you know men should appreciate that of women?
And women are too busy, picking up men's messes. It's a lot easier to create a mess and a lot harder to pick it up. How many times do you eat a meal cooked by a woman? Shopping, chopping, cooking and washing up all for maybe 10-20 min. (and now many women are also paying for the meal, now that is the definition of insanity) for you to eat. Don't you think women are a little too busy to handle every problem for men. It's men who are the problem, so why do you point the finger at a woman?

Can someone tell me again all the reasons to appreciate men?

I actually clean houses for a living. I enjoy it. From what I have seen, women are more messy. This isn't a generalization, it's discussing my experience. Most men I know love to cook. So your generalizations don't hold.

It doesn't say to only benefit 1 side. If it benefits 1 side then it's not equal

I don't know about the men in your life but in mine the men are there to help.
as far as shopping, chopping, cooking etc. - on Saturday my mom and I went to my cousin victors place to visit with his family and spend time with his parents who are in town. Victor was out and about and happened to call while I was there. his littlest boy answered the phone and I only heard something about auntie ana being there. Victor bought the ingredients and cooked my favorite meal. not because of it being my birthday or any special occasion but because there are just nice guys like that.
and even though there were four if us women present who cook well, we didn't have to do anything but enjoy.
that's not an isolated incident. the men I know cook all the time, take care of their wives and help out with the kids.


as for other reasons to appreciate men there are many.

so far, in my experience, the worst examples of how to be a person and treat a person were shown to me by a couple of women... the best examples, shown to me by a couple of men... in between are grey areas... it just so happens that for you, the opposite seem to be true... maybe including the lack of grey areas...?

so yeah... that's already a bunch of reasons why i appreciate men... sometimes, it also feels much nicer to have them do/help with some stuff instead of doing it by myself or with another woman...

I appreciate men. I would not be born if it were not for my father.

I was reading the 'Title' of this particular forum, minutely; and found that it read: "Reasons To Appreciate Men"... What I do understand from this, is that, if any woman finds any good reason to appreciate 'men' in her life (or otherwise), only then will she find it worthwhile to post her opinions/views here..

If a woman doesn't find 'men' worth appreciating, it's perfectly fine..She won't have anything meaningful to post here.. Simple!

my point is not everything has to be a debate or twisting or negative.

I understand people have had negative experiences (I have too) but I appreciate men just like another poster started a topic to appreciate women.

It's sad to me that something meant to be positive and get twisted. Sometimes topics are just meant to uplift or have a laugh or two.

One poster said something about not experiencing good men but hopes to one day. I find that positive

Not everything is sunshine and roses. But not everything is negative or a debate either

well that's great.. good work, but Estelle's comment was that the world would end with a woman's strike.

As do many other women clean for a living, but they mostly don't get paid for it.
How many men cleaning for a living or just to keep their own place clean?
I do know what you mean about women being more messy, there is some truth to that, but there is an explanation for that.. women have so many more things to do at home than men..so it also proves my point. Men just watch TV and drink beer, women have so many beauty products, cooking utensils, clothing and shoes!!, and we love throw pillows.
