Well I can grab my 22 and we could always take care of the hurt birds the HUMANE way. bigsmile I really wouldn't do that, but people would have to get to know the erson behind the smart alec to find that out for sure. happy

I always do include and befriend the ones who don't seem to fit...It pains me to see anyone left out because nobody takes the time to bother to get to know them!!!!!!!!!!

You have great compassion Native!!!flowerforyou flowerforyou I tend to think, what would I feel like in that situation......and some people do thrive on others not knowing or being able to do their job perfectly the first time......I don't get it. We were all new at one time.......flowerforyou

Gotta agree with you all, Gyspy has a great heart. (So do many others on here.)flowerforyou

I also agree with what she said about compassion towards people, and I also make friends with the not "in crowd" and have made some incredible friends that way.

I agree gypsy...BUT there are some that don't care...But then those are usually the ones...I don't want to know or hang with anyway!!!!!!!!!

Nobody is perfect and never perfect at a new job for sure...Taking time to help someone new and in need of a friend does me wonders and is far more fulfilling than hanging with people who only like to put others down!!!!!!!!

Thank god there are compassionate people like us around that can empathize with being new and/or being left out!!!!!!!!!

that is exactly how i met the bestest friend in the world. I work in a very small office, there are only 4 of us girls and our male boss.

When she was hired 3 years ago, she was "different" then us (mexican) and the other 2 girls disliked her because of it. I thought they were very petty for it. I asked the newbie out to lunch one day, and got to know her!

3 years later, and she is the best thing in my life. together, we have both been through divorces, and a horrible dating scene.

If you don't reach out to someone, just because they are different then you, you could be losing one of the best people in your life.

She has now met a wonderful guy, but he will be transfering job locations next march, and she plans on going with him... I'm already sad that she will be moving, and we still have lots of time together before she leaves.

this may sound weird, but i honestly think that she is my female soulmate.

great topic Gypsy!

I think I seek out the "different".....Im intrigued by different cultures and such.....but I also have a thing about people being mean and rude to new people just because they don't know everything at once......as ive said......we were all new at one time, and I just hope people read this and think, wow, maybe I am an ass and maybe I should go talk to that person....flowerforyou
