The kiss should not be the defining moment, you either have chemistry or you don't. I am thinking if the chemistry is there then the kiss will be good or at least decent enough for a second chance and it will only get better, as you grow and learn as a couple. Maybe he was nervous,besides failing at the first kiss attempt how was he as a person? Do you think he was nice and did he have other qualities that you liked about him? I think you should give him another chance and if he messes up again tell him how you expect him to kiss you. Good luck.
