.. personally... if I owned a car lot... I would make sure all my cars are clean and shiny...... and only advertise the most current models..... .. but then again... As we age I understand we don't look the same as we did 20 years ago. But age gracefully and be proud no need to hide behind 10 yr old pics. We want exactly what we are looking at here and men don't? lol I have met men who were not only 25 yrs at least older than their photo but also not the PERSON IN the photo

Since when does a shirt define a man? I am certain most every woman here has met a man in suit and tie that where totally jerks. When I see a woman in a bikini tastefully showing her body I don't judge her some consider it to be in poor taste, myself included. If you need THAT explained to you, then I do not think the explanation will help. Let's just leave it at to each his own :) welcome to mingle

We want exactly what we are looking at here Well what you want and what you get is often two different things. My photos span the decade plus I have been on Mingle. At my age I don't see a need to post a photo every time I gain or loose a pound or gray hair. If a person is way over invested in my appearance then they are not the person I am looking for. I learned a long time ago beauty is only skin deep and can vanish in and instant. My looks did not help bring me quality people that much when I was able to turn heads when I walked into a room so being the ideal quickly went way down on the importance scale. Someone who doesn't post current photos may have a lot better reason than you realize; safety and privacy on the street being one. It certainly does NOT have anything to do with ageing gracefully. Personally I think lacking the imagination to comprehend what a person might look like currently is being obsessed with ditating the behavior of others and that would be one of the first signs I would take as NOT ageing gracefully. |

If you wanna snug up to the feller in this picture, then the real life deal will still have appeal! I'd rather "undersell and over deliver" than be labeled a catfish, or the typical used car salesman. But I don't mind a gal dangling a little bait for me by posting a photo of herself when she was young. She just wants you to see what she looked like back in the day. You gotta know from her age that she isn't going to look the same today. Quit going out of your way to pretend to be naive and whining about being duped. Hell, half of you don't really want to meet another in person anyway, so what are you complaining about? I wonder what lies YOU told trying to impress someone that you can't deliver on. Me? This is the real world people, people are going to put up what they want. It is up to the person interested to ask if it is important to you. If in doubt.. Move to the next one. First, I would like to say that baseless flattery is fine by me  Second, perhaps you look younger than your ears <~~~(i'm leaving this typo because it is danged funny) and that is why they believe the photo isn't current. We've all seen people younger than us that look older than our grandparents and people in their 60's that look younger than we do. If a picture is worth a thousand words, maybe people oughta hush up and listen. What exactly is gained by downgrading a woman for wanting you to see her pretty face before she got a lil chin waggle, crows feet, and a mustache? Ain't like they're getting any prize in us!
