True love always wins not matter what the problem is. That's what I used to think and say and argue, lol. My ex told me this wasn't the case (when we were still very much in love). So I disagreed with him, adamant he was wrong. 12-13 yrs later I must admit he was right. Love does not always prevail .. Sometimes you have to let go, and that in itself is also an act of love. So in that sense you could say 'love always wins', but you don't always get the happily ever after outcome. |

How I'd deal with a much younger man... no idea.. Not sure if I'd ever really be comfy with it.
For me a huge gap, like 15-20 yrs would also depend on my own age. As was said, women are ahead of men in many ways (emotionally, mentally etc). So a woman 40-50 and a 20 yr younger man, would be more difficult than a 60-65 yr old woman and a 20 yr younger man. But in the latter case scenario the physical aspect would bother me. After all time and gravitation pull leave their marks. |

Well tbh I wouldn't really date some one my own age or some one who is a little older they have to much emotional bull poop going on I tried it and she was a emotional roller coaster I would date some one who is younger not all of them are about party party party some are more mentally than their older counter parts so ya I don't mind a younger girl

I always believe that love endures. I always believe that love will alaways make a way. I always believe that age doesn't matter. She was 30 and I was 20. It was a ten-year gap between our age. It WAS and it will be. It is not a typical dating relationship where two couples have a huge difference oh their age. In your case, how will you manage that relationship? the same way I'd manage any relationship...I am not really looking for a younger partner though |

Age is certainly a factor in relationships especially a decade apart. That accounts for most divorce and cheating cases we witness daily. Records and experiences have it that most couple with wide range gap in age,especially women bolt out or indulge in infidelity when the age related symptoms like fading libido starts rearing up in their male partner. Same could be said of men too, who go after 'younger legs' when the inevitable varicose veins start to show up. Anybody who says that a decade age gap isnt an issue is being economical with the truth

Very well said Crystal, I also once belived love always wins and at the end is happy ever after. But letting go is also an act of love.

Well, they say women are 8 years mentally ahead before guys of their age, so if you count 8 years + your physical difference...  they are big children

My stb-ex told me to date someone my own age (she's 11 years younger) next time around. Said I'm too mature and set in my ways to be with younger women.
