you only show up on the male profiles when you go, not female... not a big loss... Huh...I am sure I have had guys check my profile and I get friend request quite regular from guys...or am I missing something?  ...happy thoughts..and hope the rain doesn't wash you away..

Sooo...I'm pretty sure I am not alone when it came to viewing profiles in " stealth mode "...kinda curious how people...male and female will feel if I pop in and peek at their profiles..after I read a post of interest or see a new face I usually check out the profile..and sometimes check them out again..I like to see if pics change or if anything changed in general with the profile...going to miss that feature for sure...
I have never used 'Stealth' mode, always thought it a bit creepy, surely there is nothing wrong with viewing a profile even when it's just curiosity. Look on the bright side, at least now we can see more of those that do view our profiles and regarding possible unwanted comeback when we view, you can always restrict those that can contact you in your profile. Just my opinion.

i like to view profiles and then send them a message like "your bedroom looks great from where i'm standing"

I always considered stealth mode to be the gateway of lurkism.
Never used it. |

I like both, in and out (of stealth)...Not going to change my lurking pattern just because the free choice is gone, so no need to buy it back....

never used it. what's the point? looking is not a crime...is it? I just got an email with a winking smiley from someone that I viewed. I am not interested. I just looked because he posted something rude.

If I'm not mistaken Stealth did more than just allow you to look at others profiles unnoticed. Since I switched on Stealth I received zero scam messages. I'm sure that will change now.

The reason at times the same sex profile will show up on your view list is because they are looking for the same sex. If they are a woman looking for a woman it will show you they viewed your profile if you are a woman same with the men... Does not mean you are on their matches just mean they viewed you. Same here,,,not zero, but way less...I had to change my mail settings to only receiving mail from females and turn off my IM to take care of the "influx" of scammers who can now see I am on line....I'm sure I will get used to the new deal, but for now, it sucks...Scammers are such a pain!
