Neither a 100%, I think it's more of a mixture. Can you even separate the two, I wonder?
Maybe if you're the kind of person that always dives in head first, or are willing to go to extremes to get/achieve what you want.

If I had to choose, I'd go for behaviour, cos I've learnt that sometimes a (long term) goal can change along the way.

When you want something in life, do you focus %100 on the goal itself or your behavior on the way to achieving the goal?

A little of both. I analyse... run all scenarios... all possible outcomes... gather more information... but if emtions are involved all this gets tossed out the window.

ohwell guess I need more balance.

Neither...I can't imagine how putting 100% focus on any one thing could produce a positive result...Tanya is right, life requires balance...When I have a particular goal in mind, I place as much time and energy on achieving it as I can without compromising the responsibilities and requirements of daily living...If I put too much focus on my goal(s), my responsibilities to myself and those around me could suffer negative consequences...It's not about the win, it's about how well you run the race....

Hard to focus 100% on the future when life is coming at you every moment of every day. But focus as much as possible, envision having my dream, work towards...whatever it takes...

Once I set a goal i need to achieve it no matter how long or how diificult it may seem...I have achieved quite a few goals I set in the past, but I still have a few remaining that keep me going...& Ive to achieve them all in 2015 bigsmile

I am convinced that it is often true that how one goes about pursuing a goal can cause the goal to become unreachable.

The obvious dating site example: using lies as a tool to get someone to like you enough to meet for a date, is likely to make the goal of finding a long term mate impossible.

In some ways, I allow the behavior I naturally exhibit, and what I enjoy doing as I pursue a goal, to change the details of, or even the overall goal itself.

I guess you could say that it is more important to me to remain true to myself, than it is to "win."
