Deities and Goddesses roaming through the forum
sharing with the commoners their heavenly decorum

Sparking conversations that stimulate the mind
hoping to repudiate mythologies enshrined

Trumpets sound in heaven
crumpets rise from leaven
yet even holy trinities will not divide by seven

Mysteries and fairytales
rituals and lore
honeybees to sweeten the crumpets we adore

Disorganize philosophies
reorganized beliefs
painting on the forums walls with our ethical motifs

Children play with crayons
adults get lost in thoughts
if all our father’s children could only be like tots

Discussions shown as pictures
sculptures made of dough
playing with our crayons as we watch the flowers grow

Adults should learn from children
that angels love to play
and every human being is a bloom in a bouquet

Together in the garden
of God’s eternal light
never passing judgments on who’s wrong or who is right

Just basking in the beauty
of the splendor of creation
all as one and one as all without allusion to a nation

such chatter - I think we've found the Never Land, we're just too stubborn to admit it.

Oh Abra, fresh honeycomb - what a lucious thought to end my night on.

Good nite all, have to get up at 4:30 to do the warehouse gig.

Keep talking, the sweet music of your voices will be the harp that lulls me to sleep.

Hello all!

Did I come too late for the tea party?!?! I have never had a crumpet either....

And what a good idea... how could a "mad" tea party be intimidating?

Surely now all will feel welcome??!!?

Hmmm.... I thought it was "crumpets" but thinking of Abra does make "strumpets" seem more likely...

Strumpets and Streapers
and little Bo-peepers
and things that go bump in the night

Brothers and Sisters
Clones made from transistors
and Androids with spiritual light

No one can know
the bouquet of Bordeaux
with taste-buds that fail to invite

Let’s play in the sand
to the beat of the band
and gobble up life with delight

I haven’t been around children lately except on these forums. laugh

I’d need to curb my vocabulary to write children’s books.

Since you’ve mentioned it I looked up a few sites on how to write children’s books. They suggest to start by picking an age group, then looking through books that are written for that age group to see the writing styles, (i.e. sentence lengths and vocabulary used, etc.) There are even special dictionaries that are designed for each age group, I didn't know that.

I suppose I could do it. It’d be better than wasting my time here trying to make old grumpy people see the light of love. bigsmile

If we want to have a positive affect on the world we should be teaching young children good morals rather than arguing with old fools who wouldn’t know a good moral if it bit them on their butt.

You are a very wise goddess. Owl look into it. flowerforyou

Abra-

I'm sure you will write wonderful childrens books... but as one of the children who like to play here I hope you will still write for us when you have time...

I will risk copying Bl8tant and even say, "please, pretty please" don't stop writing poems for us...

With sugar (or combed honey) on top?
