Children play with crayons
adults get lost in thoughts
if all our father’s children could only be like tots

sculptures made of dough
playing with our crayons as we watch the flowers grow

Adults should learn from children
that angels love to play
and every human being is a bloom in a bouquet

Together in the garden
of God’s eternal light
never passing judgments on who’s wrong or who is right

Just basking in the beauty
of the splendor of creation
all as one and one as all without allusion to a nation

what a gift

I haven’t been around children lately except on these forums.

I’d need to curb my vocabulary to write children’s books.

Since you’ve mentioned it I looked up a few sites on how to write children’s books. They suggest to start by picking an age group, then looking through books that are written for that age group to see the writing styles, (i.e. sentence lengths and vocabulary used, etc.) There are even special dictionaries that are designed for each age group, I didn't know that.

I suppose I could do it. It’d be better than wasting my time here trying to make old grumpy people see the light of love.

If we want to have a positive affect on the world we should be teaching young children good morals rather than arguing with old fools who wouldn’t know a good moral if it bit them on their butt.

You are a very wise goddess. Owl look into it.

I'm sure you will write wonderful childrens books... but as one of the children who like to play here I hope you will still write for us when you have time...

I will risk copying Bl8tant and even say, "please, pretty please" don't stop writing poems for us...
